accidently slept on my belly last night... 869500 I woke up this morning and I was on my front...I panicked and quickly rolled over onto my back, then the PAIN came. Ouch, like morning boob but a lot worse. It's like when you bite down on your finger for ages, and then the pain when you stop biting it...thats the only way I can describe it! And now 2hrs later is still aching really badly :(

Also.. I've had a thought, I'm still quite bloated and holding a lot of water around my bra line (i was a comfortable 34 band but now need to wear a 36/38) I was wondering if I took water retention tablets would this ease it off quicker, or is this a stupid/dangerous idea? Because I'm aware swelling is there for a reason, but could I help it along a little? I don't know accidently slept on my belly last night... 267328

Don't worry too much about sleeping on your tummy, you would have woke if there was any damage being done, it makes sense that they are a bit more tender from being on them, but theyll be fine. Perhaps put pillows along both sides of you next time so you can't roll over.

As for the bloating and swelling, I wouldn't bother with the tablets, it all will subside naturally, it just takes time... The tablets may not even affect the swelling, and they can lower your blood pressure, and dehydrate you which is not a good idea after surgery. I recommend drinking lots of water, and going for walks to increase your circulation and help flush your system out.

It so easy to let our minds run away with our worries, pre op I obsessively worried about everything, then in the first two weeks post op I was so aware of every little feeling or change with my boobs and kept thinking it was bad signs... But our bodies are amazing, they are so resilient and heal so well!

I'm fully on my side now, it took me about day 15 to be happy on my side. It sort of happened by accident though, again (doh) I woke up and there I was on my side, but I felt ok, so tried it again that night and felt no pain! Won't be long now and you will be fine xxx

it took me till about 8-9 weeks post to becomfortable on my front. But if you had spent a few hours on your front, and your body didnt automatically turn u over, then my guess is youll be fine. Our bodies just know, and whether you r asleep or not, it would roll you over if it didnt feel right/comfortable.

HAHA i actually woke up this morning on my front too, however i found my boobs were inbetween my V pillow so they didnt feel too much like they were being squashed. I was actually surprised at how 'normal' it felt. accidently slept on my belly last night... 899188
