Most of Real Life don't know about my BA, so I'm going to post it here instead, because I'm so happy and want to tell someone...

'Bigandsmall just went bra shopping and for the first time ever looked in the changing room mirror and liked herself in a bra (and nearly had a little cry too)'

Anyone else got one?

How exciting! I acually cant wait until i can try on new bras.. Been so annoyed the past few days as all the shops seem to be having bra sales and are like 3 quid! my imaginary facebook status 43877 I only had my BA done a week ago.

How long til you can start trying and buying? x

I think everyone heals differently- definitely wait til your scars heal! I had to get out of that stupid sports bra at about a wk and a half bc it felt terrible! I got a bra without an underwire but it still hurts against my scars!! (They recommend putting panty liners between your scars and the bra- but mine bunched up and I got mad and yanked them out lol)

What about nursing pads they might work better!

I would say I can't wait to have that same feeling but I'm gonna have to wait cos although my lift is on August 15th there isn't really any point going shopping for nice bras after the lift has healed because I'll only be in them for 2 months or so before I have my implants on January 16th!! So I've got a good 6 months before I can go bra shopping :-(

Hmm i might try the pads. I've had mine done for 7 days now and i havent worn the sports bra for the last 2 as it started rubbing and it hurt but i dont like that they dont have any support at the moment. Thanks! x
