Check up yesterday... what a surprise I had! :-)
I saw my surgeon yesterday (9 weeks post op). A very short and sweet visit. He was pleased with everthing (size, shape, healing etc). He said he didn't think they'd change much more now... maybe get a little bit softer.
He also said that I could now start wearing underwired bras!! Woo-hoo!!!
I was going to go round the corner from the clinic and get measured at Bravissimo in Covent Garden... but there was such a long wait, I didn't bother. However, I did then go and get measured and fitted in John Lewis on Oxford St. The lady who advised me initially brought me 2 different sizes to try (and didn't initially tell me what they were). She was anxious that nothing rested on my scars... as she said she didn't think I should be in uner-wired so soon and was going to give me more room in the band size. So I think the bras that she brought in were a little bit generous really. The shock of it was, that the 2 sizes she brought in for me to try were a 34ff and a 36f!!!!!
I then went round the lingerie department and picked a few styles I liked, in the sizes she suggested. I didn't think they looked quite right, so I got another assistant to give me some advice too. (I didn't tell this one that I'd had a BA) and we came to the conclusion that the sizes I needed would be a 34f or a 36e. So to be quite honest I'm still in a state of shock that my boobies are an F CUP!! Especially as I have been wearing spots bras in a 36d for the past nine weeks!
So there you go, my 385 overs have taken my supposed 36a to a 34f... not bad eh?!!
I then popped into Debenhams too and they still have a sale on... I got a couple of lovely bras for £5.50 each and matching knickers for £2.40!!! That kind of softened the blow of the £48 bra I had previously bought in John Lewis!

Congratulations hun.... wow what a result! The mistery of post-op bra sizing... I have to say I was also surprised at my D/DD after wearing 32C sports bras!
And if your surgeon says you can wear underwired, don't worry about what the lady said... do what he says! I'm 7 weeks and mine says it's fine for me to wear underwired. I am wearing one today and I have had no problems x

Those bra cups do look massive... I really can't believe they're mine!!!
I've never understood the whole thing with augmented breasts, when people say "I measure an F but look lika D"... but it's so true!
When I was pre-op I was so worried about being too big after my op... but I can honestly say I am thrilled with my boobies and am chuffed to buts to be a member of the "f club"!!!

Congratulations, I am in the F Cup Club to, but mine don't seem to look that big I don't think. Hoping to go larger at the end of this year.

Well I've now exchanged my bras again for the 34ff as my boobs were fighting to get out of the cups! However, no way do I look a double f... my best friend said I looked like a d cup. I wouldn't want to go any bigger though... I'm happy for the fluffing fairy to move right along now!
How large do you hope to go, poppingout? You really will be poppingout eh?!

Haha Yeah I really want to be popping out lol. I am hoping to get 900 cc implants. I only had my ba done on the 11th feb. Going to see my ps on the 16 may to discuss going larger next year. Love my new assests, but think they are not wide enough. So going to discuss going larger and see what I get.
Fingers crossed for me lol xx
