Only thing is i was that excited i just skipped out without asking anything about bio oil on my scars - can i do it yet? or getting back on my cross trainer DOH

Re: Check up yesterday
I think bio oil has a guide on when to use... On scars, I think you can use it as soon as they have healed properly... You could phone the place where you had your op and ask to speak to a nurse. Very happy that you've got a good result! Xx

Re: Check up yesterday
Be careful using the cross trainer right away. If I were you I wouldn't use my arms when using it, not yet anyway. I'd give it at least 8 weeks before I'd even contemplate it. The arm movement needed uses the pectoral muscles a LOT. Just remember that under normal circumstances if you had a 6 week break from exercising, when you got back to it your muscles would need to be eased into it again or injury would more than likely occur. You have had unders so the pectoral muscles have been moved around more than just a 'pulled muscle' - if you pull a muscle then it's 6 weeks before exercise again. Don't jump right in there and try to use your arms as much as you would normally do, you will only pay for it big time. Also, don't forget to stretch and warm up your muscles before even touching the cross trainer, I wouldn't like to be in your shoes if you forgot!
On a lighter note though, congrats on your 'perfect' boobies!!! you must be so happy

Re: Check up yesterday
Hiya, I was told only walking on the treadmill and stationery bike but yesterday the leaning over the bike thing got to me a bit so just sit up straight and not too much arm pumping on the treadmill.

Re: Check up yesterday
If your scars are now fully closed and looking good then you should be fine to now start using BIO-oil hun.
As Jennie said about the crosstrainer, using your arms on there just now might just be a bit too much straight away. When you get back into excercise remember slow and steady building up gradually. xx
