confused about antibiotics :S

Hey girls,
Im a little confused, I keep reading that nearly everyone has been put on a course of antibiotics after surgery, but I haven't confused about antibiotics :S 267328

. I was on Tramadol for 2 days after my op then had a 6 day course of regular over the counter paracetamol, although I stopped the paracetamol after 4 days as my pain was nearly gone and im feeling much better. Does anyone have any idea why I haven't been given anything? I don't feel that I need them, but im just curious.

You will have had antibiotics during your surgery babe don't worry.

As you've probably seen already, different surgeons offer different post-op recovery plans, some surgeons prefer their patients to take a anti-biotics over the course of a week, other will give a high dose in theatre.
