Post by Hopeful 2nd July 2011, 10:24 pm

I had my tape off on my 1week post op appointment. I had to wear my temporary Asda sports bra and I found it itchy. My boobs are feeling sensitive anyway so I can feel every seam, every stitching on that bra, especially where they have a pretty little cut out under the cups. So, I turned my bra inside out and it was much better.

I'm now in my shock absorbers which gives me better support.

Lol I know. Threw out my old bras tonight, can't wait for my new underwear collection.I kept one tho for momento. How is Yr healing going? Oh snap I had singh too. Did u go highgate? Are u taped up? Have u tried on any of Yr old clothes? I put on an old dress today and it fitted me better. Sorry, didn't mean to bomb u with questions. How did u choose Yr size? I was stressing about being too big with 470 on my frame. So happy for trusting my surgeon.

Not every bra bra is suitable for every woman babe. I didn't like the Asda bras, I found they gave little support and just didn't meet the 'high impact' criteria that I was told was needed post-op. If your looking for a chep 'n' chearful bra that gives good support and has a soft interior, I recently found the F&F bra from Tesco priced at about £7.50- £9.00 and excellent buy! xx

The tape off that went over the top of my boobs as it was irritating me bad!! I asked mya nurse if I could first. Iv tried on a couple of things but I look like a fat mess ATM as I'm all clogged up lol sorry to much Info! So how was ur experience!? Xxx.

I couldn't decide on size. I wanted to be big but not too big that it's in your face big. Was bouncing between 410, 445, 470. So glad I trusted singh. I was the same, 2 kids, breastfed, needed implants to fill out stretched skin. When I woke up I was sure he had put in 445, so was surprised ( happy) they were 470. They didnt look big, not what I thought 470 would look like. Food fab there, nurses fab there, good experience. Recovery going great considering I've had double op. I must have good bowels, i didn't get chance to use the max strength laxatives I brought pre BA from Asda.

Did you have green and blacks ice cream, lol?

Lol can't believe u took tapes off, are u in a sports bra now?

My Asda sports bra was really itchy too! I thought it was just me though as lots of girls here seem to get on with them fine. I got on better with some debenhams ones and still wear them now at night sometimes.

I was at highgate with Mr Singh too, and you've just reminded me about the food, it's sooo good isn't it! I was in no hurry to go home. xx
