Re: advise? reduction with implant, finance
hey, well.i havent had this or.have experience, but on th financial side, how much u pay each month will.depend on th amount of th.loan, how.many years u r paying it back over and wat apr u get. my loan os ovr five years for 4000 and i pay 158 a month n end up paying back 6500. so not brilliant. ive never heard of someone having a reduction and implant, do u feel ur boobs hav sagged.cos of th weight of them?

Re: advise? reduction with implant, finance
Yes he does but, as I'm sure you'll understand, he is a very busy guy!!! He works through several clinics (Plymouth and Cheltenham being the main ones), has a family, and is currently in very intense physical training!! So it can take a couple of days for him to get online and reply to you. Just be patient hun x
Good luck with your op, hope you get what you want.
Oh, and from what I can gather a reduction costs around the same as a lift. I have been quoted £8660 by MyBreast for a lift and augmentation as 2 separate procedures. Don't know if it would be possible to do a reduction and augmentation at the same time, only a surgeon can answer that x

Re: advise? reduction with implant, finance
Well just a heads up that with Mybreast (not sure about anyone else's prices) just the lift is £4900 and the implants op is £4650, but I managed to get a discount if I book the ops at the same time even though they'll still be separate ops so total is £8660 instead of £9550. And I've asked again if they'll negotiate on price so am waiting to hear back if they can do it any lower!!
Good luck hun x

Re: advise? reduction with implant, finance
Hi Clarelou,
sorry but I have been very busy.
I think you mean uplift with implants rather than reduction with implants.
As Rach has said prices vary and in some cases it is necessary to do the surgery in 2 stages.
This would need to be assessed at consultation,
Good luck with your treatment<

please refrain from being rude. James donates his time and expert advice to the forum, for which we are extremely grateful. If you wish to have expert advice straight away I suggest you pay for a consultation with a surgeon.
Re: advise? reduction with implant, finance

Re: advise? reduction with implant, finance
You could have also asked the members of the forum in the general BA section or the uplift section . They have lots of experince with uplifts and getting finance. There are also clinics which offer free consultations. A BA can be a long process and one where you have to be patient. The surgeon answered your question as best he could, he did not ignore you at all. James would not be able to comment on BMI as he does not work there. I dont really know what you expected him to tell you. If you wanted information about the operation then yes ask a surgeon.
Re: advise? reduction with implant, finance
i did also post on regular BA, wanted to know if it was a possible procedure in the uk if it was known if he personly knows or known of any tht was succesfull, i was anxious like most people waitin for information before paying out money to see a surgeon and have just recently found i can get a free one, i just thort i would post as it had been a month with no reply wasent bein rude , i thought this site was about helping and im no further in my questions thn i was before with this site i shall be sticking to goin to see a surgeon than waiting around thanks to the kindness of the couple of people who tried to help tho x

You had your answer from the surgeon sweetheart as you can see from the response from James above your own.
I hope James has answered all you needed for your question hun, we're a great bunch here and as misf1 said, if you'd like any questions answered quickly then the 'Uplift and nipple lift surgeries' section of the forum is a great place to post also as you'll always get a quick response here.
All of our surgeons generously give their free time here lovely and as you'd probably expect they have very busy lives of their own so we do very much appreciate all of them being here when they can, sometimes that might not be as soon as you might have liked, but the surgeons here and all the forum members do honestly try really hard to help ladies who come herehence the good reviews you were given. xx

Re: advise? reduction with implant, finance
It may be helpful to explain to James what state your breasts are in at the moment, have you lost shape and have a lot of excess skin and tissue that is sagging? In that case it may be that you want a full lift (mastopexy) with implants, this entails repositioning the nipple and cutting away excess skin and inserting an implant to regain volume and shape.
Re: advise? reduction with implant, finance
clarelouu wrote:it isent and uplift im wanting it is a reduction with implants
James was right in suggesting that you'd need an uplift with implants hun, yes, you're having a reduction but the procedure requires an uplift if you can understand that hun. xx
Re: advise? reduction with implant, finance
As this is a question about a company this surgeon does not work for, I'm moving this to the general BA section.

I have quoted everything you wrote in this post to James, I can understand you are frustrated, but I can't see what you are asking the surgeon? He cant tell you how much anything is as he wouldn't know. He can only answer questions about surgery. If I were you I would ask the surgeon about specifics of surgery only.

James has very kindly offered to answer questions about surgery on here FOR FREE. you would normally pay £100 pounds an hour for a consult with a baaps registered surgeon.
I will not tolerate any rudeness to any surgeon on here and to be honest you seemed to have joined this forum just to ask him a question, which is not what he's here for. He's here for regular members.
If we've disappointed you so much as a forum I'll save you anymore disappointment
