Sports Bra Sizing Issues
Since coming on the forum I have come to realise wearing the wrong bra size... I'm 30.5" around the ribs, but wear (and was 'measured') 34".
My current sports bras are 34E but already I think the bands are too loose- I can stretch the band out very easily- so think the swelling I had has gone down as I've gone from wearing it on the loosest hooks to the tightest.
My problem is at the moment, round the front the band literally doesnt sit flat against me- I've only noticed this in the last few days. Does this mean the cup size is too small also?
Thanks in advance!

Yes hun if it doesn't sit flat you need to go up a cup size or more. You could probably wear a 30 or 32 band depending on how they feel, maybe try a 32F or a 30G bra on see how they fit.

I think it's one of the hardest things post BA is adjusting to and finding the right size bras. But you will know when one fits nicely.

Thanks misf1.. I thought you might be the one to come to my sizing woes. I was sure I had it all figured out, but then thought maybe it's different as it's a SB and not a proper cupped bra.
I'll try some difference sizes on tomorrow.

Re: Sports Bra Sizing Issues
It's so difficult and I went through exactly the same thing. My bras never fitted properly, I was wearing a 34DD, or 36D post op, and at 4 weeks got fitted in bravissimo (in a non wired bra) as a 32F. I never knew what a well fitting bra felt like as I even wore the wrong size bra pre op and they were so full of gel they were never comfy. A good fitting bra is so comfy. I really liked Bravissimo as they explained exactly why things fitted well or didn't fit well, so I knew what to look out for when buying bras later on.
