Anatomical or Round
Yes its me again sorry to be a pain girlies but I have been looking at more pictures online and I am coming round to the idea of getting round instead of anatomical. The surgeon as advised anatomical as I am quite skinny but the more I look at other peoples picture I can't see why I cannot have round as they do fall into place and have a natural look even on skinny people..
Has anyone had anatomical ones??? Are you happy with them???
Thanks BA next week friday whooooo

Re: Anatomical or Round
I have anatomicals as my PS felt that I wouldn't look good with round and I love them. I am 12 days post op and right from day one they had a lovely natural shape to them.
I was 36a/b and after 280CC's I am currently 36d/dd. My PS says I have very little swelling now so what I see is pretty much me. I couldn't be happier with the shape.
They are round at the sides and base (which gives a fabulous fullness at the sides ) and then in the upper pole, they kind of gradually slope from my chest. It looks so natural but the best bit is, even though they are still firm, I can already push them together for a cleavage when required.
So I would say for me, anatomicals have given me the best of both worlds.
Also, although you have to be comfortable with your decision, you also have to understand that your PS is an expert in this and as long as he/she can show you pictures of his/her work that supports their ability and talent, you should consider their advice seriously.
Good luck with your decision.....although from the look of the avatars on this forum, either way, you should come out of it happy!

Re: Anatomical or Round
personally id take the surgeons advice as he has viewed your body, go to a few differant surgeons see what they suggest.
i had 2 surgeons suggest rounds and 1 suggest atomicals when i went for my consultations.
i have rounds at the moment and would go back to rounds again as i acheived a natural look with rounds and iam fearfull of the rotation with atomicals, if one of your rounds rotates at least it would still look the same (this has happend to me 10 years ago so thats why im a bit weary of teardrop implants) but i do know people who have had them for years and had no problems with them. be guided by your surgeon ...as long as you trust him ! x

Re: Anatomical or Round
I have anatomicals and I love the shape, when I get them done again I will def get anatomicals, as for them rotating lolly, there really isn't anything to worry about, they make them textured for that very reason :)

I hate this dilemma between round and anatomicals .. Are you a "for sure" on your decision? When are you getting yours done?

Re: Anatomical or Round
The implants are textured to stop that happening but with THG I can have free surgery if they turn :-) xxxx

Re: Anatomical or Round
Rotation is unlikely with first time implants as long as the PS makes a pocket that is the right size.
With subsequent implants, there is a risk that the pocket may be a little too big, which allows the implant to rotate. That is why in many cases, secondary implants are bigger than the first ones or changed to round - to ensure the pocket is full.
That is what my PS told me anyway.....hope it helps.

I am an anatomical 'for sure' now.
I want to look as natural as poss without someone looking at me and even thinking has she or hasn't she.
Someone gave me some fab advice on here recently...
They said It's best to go for what you want even with the very small risk than live with something you did not want for the rest of your life.
Star2angel is right- rotation is even more unlikely if it is your first BA.
I am going to book mine in the next week, although I won't get a date straightaway- as mine won't be until Nov/Dec and they haven't released those months yet :(
