Figleaves post op bras?
Has anyone used them? Are they any good?!
I've seen them online & thought they looked quite pretty for a support bra but it's hard to tell how good they are from a picture!
Also, what is the best size to get - should you buy bigger than you think to allow for swelling?
Sorry, so many questions!!

I haven't used them. It would depend on what your surgeon has suggested you wear. I was told to wear a high support sports bra, so I went out and bought a Z bra which is especially for after a BA and then I bought a veriety of cheap sports bras to allow for swelling. My surgeon advised a 34E so i bought the most expensive one in that size and then bought a 36D & DD (bigger band size for swelling) and a 34DD just incase I didn't fit in the 34E.
I would suggest getting a bigger band size than your surgeon suggests for straight after the op. Or bra extenders.

I've never seen them in the shop hun so probably only available online. I was on 2 minds whether to get the Z bra or Royce Silver post surgery bra [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
As I'd heard lots of good things about both. I decided on the Z bra as it would be good as a sports bra after the op as well. I think they are true to sizing, they are pretty tight when you put them on and your boobs will not move in it as they are compression bras as well. I was very happy with it and how comfy it was. The low elasticated band didn't irritate my scars either. I also liked the asda bras too. But when my boobs felt really heavy, it was the Z bra that won hands down.

Thanks for the link misf1. The Z bra looks great, I think I'll go for one of those!
Is it best to wait until after your op to buy one? My ps said that I will wake up in a support bra but obviously I would like to change it at some point! I would like to be organised & have one ready but then I don't want to get the wrong size?!

Re: Figleaves post op bras?
I bought mine before my op, but only because my PS told me what size to buy. If they are going to give you one to wear straight after the op then might be worth waiting and getting it afterwards
Re: Figleaves post op bras?
I can highly recommend the z-bra too. I am a 30G post op and pre-op I ordered a 32E and a 34E. The 32 fitted well round the band and fitted well immed post op but became very tight after about 8 weeks ( still chose to wear them at night as much more comfy) The 34E still fits now in the cup but the band rides up at the back.Chanhassen, I reckon with your implant size you should add two cup sizes to your existing cup size and buy that cup size. Also buy a band size up frim what you are normally, as you will need this because of swelling. Then if you like the z-bra, once the swelling has gone down you could buy your normal band size and adjust the cup size (down a band size, up the cup size)Lolly, I really hope a z-bra fits for you babe, I had 515cc implants, and am a 30 back but only the 34E fitted me, in the cup. In the 32E I got overspill. They don't go up from an E cup either!
And FInally! I also tried and loved the Royce Silver Bra. Not quite as supportive as a sports or z-bra, so in my mind better suited to further down the line bra. It is ideal as a sleep bra, wore mine till about 10mths post op at nightGood Luck ladies xx
