Overs - What is recovery like?
Hi ladies...me again.
Only 5 days to go now so my mind is working overdrive on the questions!!
Can anyone tell me what the first week of recovery is like with over the muscle implants? Almost everyone seems to have unders or partial unders and so i am finding it hard to find any feedback on over the muscle recovery.
I would like to know what the first few days will be like. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks xx

Re: Overs - What is recovery like?
I found the most uncomfortable day was day 3. Pain isnt really pain more a ache just my opinion everybody is different. The worst think I find is the sharp pains in the nipples only lasts a second but makes me jump lol x If you have had kids the best way I could explain it its like being engorged when the milk comes in. x

Hay Hun,
I found the first few days painful - hard getting up moving around. Spent the first few days drugged up and resting!
By the end of the week was finding things much easier and was off the pain killers and could get up much better!
At the time it was like hell what have I done to myself but you soon forget about it :) its amazing how quick your body can heal.
Good luck hun!

Re: Overs - What is recovery like?
I didn't have any pain, the only problem I had was a bad back from my posture and sleeping propped up. I took it easy, and had plenty of rest while also keeping mobile with little walks. I found my recovery very easy. But then I made sure I didn't over do it.

Hi hun, I had 525 overs ... i didnt really have4 any pain as such just a tight feeling although I am still suffering with sore nipples although they do seem to be getting better. I found it difficult to sleep purely because we got to sleep sitting up but thats ok now cos at long last i can lie down lol

Re: Overs - What is recovery like?
I didn't have any pain, or at least not enough to justify painkillers of any kind. To me it felt like I'd been doing a lot of press-ups. My chest felt a bit tight and a little achey. Morning boob kicked in after about day 3 tho - where for the first 10 mins after getting out of bed I felt like I'd been punched hard in the boobs! Had to walk around clutching them hard to stop the pain, but that's absolutely normal and it does pass in a few days.

Hi, I had overs two days ago, no pain so far just discomfort. Reading other posts it seems the pain may kick in on about day 3 - so I'll see how I feel tomorrow!

Ha I feel like a wuss now - I had a tubular breast correction so there was more cutting involved, that's my excuse lol.
You'll be fine hun, its nothing you cant take.

Re: Overs - What is recovery like?
Thank you all so much for your comments....you have made me feel so much better about it......and as for you "thevisionoflife"....no such thing as a wuss when it comes to breast surgery so I still think you're cool!
I am dipping between being calm about it and then moments of panic, but drove to the hospital today to check out where it was (met my consultant at a local alternative) and didn't freak out so think I'm gonna be okay!
Thanks again guys....not sure how I would do this without you all there to watch my back! xxxxxx
