Lots of advice needed found out I have PIP's
Hi
Im new to this site, I thought I would come on here and hopefully get some advice. I went a few months ago to hospital to have an MRI scan and found out that my right breast has ruptured and also there is silicone that has leaked under my armpit.
I have had these implants in for 8 years and had some swelling in my right one last year but didnt get it looked at. Finally managed to get information from the hospital I went to in London and they have now advised me that they are PIP's which has now worried me lots. I have now found a great surgeon near to where I live in Essex and hopefully will be having them replaced in a months time.
My new surgeon has mentioned that he doesnt want to remove the silicone from the lymph nodes under my armpit as he thinks this can be dangerous would people agree with that? also im going to be having Mentor implants are they any good?
He also has advised me not to have my implants any bigger but to keep them the same size, I wanted to go slighlty bigger do you think that would be ok? or would I get rippling? I currently have 365cc implants infront of the muscle. Im a size 8 dress, weight 8.5 stone, height 5'4inches and went from a 32A before BA to now a 32DD.
Any advice would be great.
Thank you

I am not a surgeon and haven't seen you so wouldn't know if you would get rippling from going bigger. You can have the lymph nodes removed if you need to but I dont know whether this is dangerous. Mentor are a very good implant. It may be worth going to see a few surgeons and see what they say and go with the one you feel comfortable with.

Really sorry to read you have a rupture hun
I'm sure your surgeon would have advised what is best for YOU, a couple of ladies with PIPs here have had lymph nodes removed, I didn't have PIPs I had CUIs and one ruptured and leaked to my lymph nodes and I also had some removed, not all ladies with leakage to the nodes do have them removed though, some surgeons based on their consultation of their patient dont think there is need to do this at all.
If you're worried at all maybe have a second consultation with another surgeon hun to see what they say and then maybe make your decision from there.
Yeah, Mentor are a good implant hun, they are FDA approved and have a lifetime guarantee.
I honestly don't know babe, but with you having implants for 8 years I would have thought there might have been a good possiblity for you now to go bigger if thats your choice.
I do think a second consultation with a different surgeon might be your best move forward seeing as you have so mant question marks, this could all be cleared from having another consultation so you have something to compare with in my opinion hun. xx
