Is it normal
Im 2 days since getting my boobs and all has been pretty good minimal pain just a little achy. Well today I keep getting dizzy and feeling extreamly worn out even just walking to the kitchen??? I also keep getting a funny taste in my mouth almost like a plasticy feels like there is a film in my mouth very odd and I have a headache on and off... Anyone else experianced anything like this? x
Re: Is it normal
I'm no doctor but that sounds like you may be having a problem with your blood pressure, don't panic sweetness, I don't think you're in any danger at all, I'm only suggesting this 'cos I have low blood pressure and experience dizziness and headaches, but I would suggest you call your clinic and explain your symptoms.
Please let us know how you get on babe. xx

Re: Is it normal
Cheers cookie I did think that especially after walking up the stairs and I could feel my heart beat in my head if that makes sense? Iv called the nurse and left a message. Hope she calls back soon I not like this feeling :( lol x
Re: Is it normal
I had that for about 2 weeks after my surgery hun. It will go and like Cookie says it's prob down to blod pressure and your body recovering from ga. I had a gushing/pulsing noise in my ear for ages everytime I slighlty exerted myself. Try and rest xx

Re: Is it normal
I had an odd taste in my mouth for a few days afterward..and no matter what i ate i couldnt shift the taste...I put it down to the GA!
But the dizziness doesnt sound too good, again it could be a reaction to the GA..but like Cookie said give your clinc a call, better to be safe than sorry!

Re: Is it normal
Yeah, it makes a lot of sence hun, if they don't call back in an hour maybe give your GP a call and see if the Gp or the nurse would be available to check your blood pressure. Explain your symptoms and I'm sure they'll fit in, it doesn't matter that your surgery was private so don't worry about that.
Re: Is it normal
Hi hun in the mean time try increasing your salt and water in take as this will help increase blood pressure. Energy drinks will be good too if you have low blood sugar.
Re: Is it normal
im gonna go with hubby to pick kids up from school hoping the fresh air will do me good. Il grab some lucozade as well and see what happens. Im hoping I just over done it day of op (i was very hypo) and now Im paying the price lol.. x
Re: Is it normal
LOL. Well don't ignore it if you feel any worse sweetie, be sure to listen to your body and act on that
Re: Is it normal
Just thought of something my doc tels me to do when I have a dizzy episode you might like to try hun, energy drinks and stuff don't help me, if you get no relief from them try raising your legs so they're higher than your heart, this helps me as it supposedly help to raise your blood pressure this way. xx
Re: Is it normal
i also suffer with low blood pressure and i have found the only way to relieve it is to sit with my head right down in between my knees, it usually passes quite quickly but certainly make sure you get it confirmed kezza xx
