Trust me - take arnica - it is so suttle though - don't know if it helps or not but out of all the homepathic stuff this seems to be the best. I had a 9lb baby and took arnica before and hoped of the bed after giving birth - well nearly - 2nd baby - same labour - same 9lb baby forgot to take arnic - bruised a lot - that is my prooof - i am in on sat and taking it now but it is hard to find one hour when you don't eat or drink anything !!

I was told not to take anything and I didn't have any bruising either so I cannot advise on whether arnica works or not, only to listen to what your surgeon/nurse say xx
