You will have to check with your surgeon hun, some say 6 weeks, some say less, some say more.

Every surgeon is different. Give them a call hun.

Mine said 6 weeks of sports bra 24.7 then when I go back next week they'll tell me if I'm ok to wear normal underwires xxxx

Follow the post-op care instructions given by YOUR surgeon sweetness and you can't go wrong!

Some surgeons dont request a sportsbra at all, some 2/4/6/12 weeks! but to get the best from your own recovery, your surgeon will know what's best for YOU. xx

Same advice as everyone else, plus you may find that underwires take a while to get used to again, even when your PS says its ok xx

Hi. My PS told me to wear sports bra for 4 weeks day and night. And guess what? I am 5 weeks post op and still in a sports bra. I can't get use to underwire bras. I love my sports one :DDDD

lol They were so minimal in what they told me ..I had to ask! They said after the 4th day that I could take the sports bra off but it may feel heavy so to wear it for a little bit each day. I guess I'll wait until the 6 week mark at my next appointment and ask again. I have to admit my sports bra is sooo comfy
