Post by Jaderowlands 27th April 2011, 12:36 pm

I have a few questions that I'd be greatful if any1 could enlighten me.

Okay 1st what is MHP, my ppc just tld me this is what I'm having. I'm having soft touch implants 615cc. She said that it is high profile. Is this right??

Second I was told no fake tan 7 days before op but I've ad loads to do an only took it off last night an my op is Friday. Is it really bad that I left it on too close to my op??

Next, are u not allowed any make-up at all during ur op. Is a bit if eye make up ok or should I completely be free of everything?? No foundation??

Finally what size sports bra should I buy, I'm having big implants. I was just gonna go to ASDA an get 1 but unsure what size I should buy??

Thanx girlies if u could help xxxx

Hiya the 615 soft touch implants only come in Extra high profile, so that's what you'll be getting.
I think the fake tan will be fine if it's off now, your skin just needs to be clean and it's normal colour so they they can monitor you properly during the op.

I found the Asda sports bras really stretchy so they're good if you dont know what size to get it'll probably stretch to fit anyway, I'd probably get a 34F, 34g and a 36F if I was you and you can return what doesn't fit if you keep the receipts. xx

Every1s probs sick of my posts hehe.

Yay extra high profile is great. I thought M might stand for moderate. I was lil upset cos I'd rather they project outwards more than be more round.

As for the tan. Yeah I'm back to my whiter than white o natural colour so guess that's all fine.

I'll go with your advise sweetie. But all those sizes then take em back. Thanx so much mrsm, that's just a great help huni xxx

Did you ask for the naturelle/ inspira soft touch? The MHP is usually the allegan CUI range and MHP stands for Microcell (a textured surface) High Profile. So yes she is right they are high profile. But they are not the soft touch you are expecting. The CUI range usually comes with just a 10 year guarentee not a life time like the soft touch does. I myself have the CUI and am very happy with them, but I think it's best you know what implant you are having so you know if you will be happy with it.
I'm sure as long as your fake tan is now gone, you should be fine.
I was not allowed any make up at all, and I think this is quite standard everywhere. You can wear it to the hospital if you wish, but you will need to remove it when you are there. It'll be worth it.
I'd get a couple of bras as you will be able to take back the ones that don't fit. I would probably get a band size bigger than you normally wear ready for swelling so if you usually wear a 34 buy a 36 or a bra extender. With such big implants I'd be tempted to get a 36F/FF & G and maybe a 34 FF/ G &GG

The soft touch would be TSX not MHP

I'm having soft touch inspira. No1 mentioned CUI. Does this still mean MHP is high profile? Or is it extra high profile like mrsm said??

I'll probs just wear no make up, I want my skin to be completely free of any product. Urgh horrible journey there lol.

I hope ASDA do that big a size. G/GG is really big. I'll buy a few like y recommend. The best thing to do. Thanx misf1 xxx

I would give them a ring back as the soft touch inspira doesn't have an MHP. Their code is TSX. The TSX is extra high profile and the MHP is high profile.
I would check what implant they are giving you.

Maybe she just has the codes mixed up, it's most likely you are having the TSX615 if you are having the inspiras and she did confirm that. You can always check with your surgeon beforehand on friday just to make sure. You can look at the catalogue for inspiras here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

yours are on page 12
14cm wide and 6.5cm projection

The MHP which are the standard CUI implants only go up to 525cc in size, so if you're having 615 it wont be them, it'll be the Inspira soft touch, your pc was prob just confused cos you were going to have the 525s weren't you and just changed to 615 tsx. Hope that makes sense, she should be able to confirm that for you, and the surgeon comes to see you on the day of your op to confirm everything aswell before you go down. x

That was so helpful thank you. I think she did get the codes wrong as it's definitely inspira sift touch I'm getting. I see that it's only the extra high projection that has 615 so that will be what in getting. I will definitely check in Friday. I want to know for certain what will be put in my body. Xxx

patient co-ordinators don't have a clue hun, they're sales people sweetie and that's it, give them a call an tell them they have made mistake and that you aren't having Allergan CUIs which are MHP you're having the Inspira soft touch and you're calling to ensure that this is what is written in your file to be ordered as she'd obviously made a mistake. xxx

Think the girls have helped with the implant so I'm not gonna mention that. With bra sizes I would try and get a band size bigger than your normally wear to allow for swelling. For example if you are usually a 32 get a 34 and maybe even a 36 just in case. I got mine from m&s and took back the ones I didn't need. Now I use my sports bras when I go gym so not a complete waste of money. lol. x

Thanx cookie, I'm gonna give the clinic a ring as my pcc is off from now till Tuesday how great is that. I want them to go thru exactly what I'm having. It isn't too much trouble seeing as how much I'm paying.

Thanx pinkbabe I'll defo buy a 36 cos I thought I was 34 an he said I'm 32 so 36 is good either way I'm guessing. Haha my sports bras will be if little use when I don't need to wear em. Never at the gym xxx

okay, i no nothing about th implant question...but, when i got a bra from asda (excellent btw!) i got a band size bigger, as i had swollen a little bit and the smaller normal band size i get didnt fit, and was a bit uncomfortable. So i wud just suggest one band size bigger. I think the asda ones go up to a g cup, but that will fit, as they stretch loads!! also, make up wise, i heard on here you couldnt wear make up, but i went in with mascara on....by accident!! and told the nurse when i was walking down to theatre, and she said it doesnt matter about mascara too much, and it was to do with the tape they put on your eyes during surgery..??? Hope that helped a little sweetie...u must be sooo excited!!! i loved my ba day, and i love my boobs even more!! i was a 34c before, and measuring a 34g atm, cant wait to c what size you'll end up!! :):):) xxxx yipee

Aww bet u were panicking bout lil things like wearing mascara. I think I'll just I'll wear non at all. I was gonna wear make up on the train there an take it off when I got the hospital but I want to be really clean an don't wanna take it off like an hour before I go to theatre. Uve really helped babes.

I'm sooo excited. Nerves come an go. I reckon I'll be pooping it come Friday. My admission is 3 so I've got all day to worry. Great.

I can't wait to see what size I'll be. Hugggeee I guess hehe xxx
