Firstly hun you have to know that what you're feeling is normal and temporary. The tightness you're experiencing is due to the swelling and this will settle.
The sickness you're experiencing is due to the GA and possibly your painkillers too. If you can manage without strong painkillers then this will help relieve the sickness hunni, I had to change mine for paracetamol as I too suffered terrible sickness and it was caused by the painkillers. Once I stopped those I felt much better.
Don't worry about staying in bed hun, just be sure to make yourself get up for a little walk a couple of times a day. I know you might not feel up to it, but trust me hun, it really will help speed up your recovery to get yourself up and mobile. Don't overdo it though, if you feel ill, just a short walk around the house will do. And also drink lots of water too, this will help flush the GA through your system.
I found the first 3 days the worst and started to feel a little better after a week post-op, that was my turning point hun.
Hope you feel better soon xx

Sounds like you have the post-op blues too hun
Will your mum be taking care of the 3 year old for you? Do you have someone taking your 8 year old to school or does she take herself?
You are going to need help hun, at least for the first week, but don't worry about being alone. As long as the children are taken care of, you'll be fine. Just ensure everything you might need during the day is left by your husband at a low level so you don't have to reach for anything and I'm sure your 8 year old can help with the little one if need be before she goes off to school.
If you can cope without the strong painkillers hun, I really would stop those and replace with paracetamol. I don't think they help with how you're feeling and do make a lot of women sick. After stopping those you generally feel much better. If need be just take them at night to help you get off to sleep.

It's totally normal to feel the way you are pamela. Try to take it as easy as you can and remember that we all get the post op blues. That GA has a few side effects, including nausea, constipation, depression, and many others. It takes around 7-10 days to get out of your system. Try to rest, take painkillers as you need them, drink lots of water and give your boobs time to settle.

Aw hun, cookie has given you the best advice ever. You should start to feel better in a few days.
Re: HELP i need answers A.S.A.P xx
Are you on day 3 hun? I remember that being the worst day for boobie blues... Your poor body has been through quite a trauma and it's only natural to feel the way you do. You're still carrying the effects of your GA and the tightness in your chest is a constant reminder that you've done something really drastic. But believe me, it really is just temporary - in a few days you'll be feeling like a new woman and it'll just get better and better. I feel like mine have always been part of me now, and you will too. Get plenty of rest, let others help you out and you concentrate on feeling better. Do try and get up for the odd wander around tho, and maybe out for some fresh air if you can manage.
**Hugs** - this part isn't the easiest, but you should be bloody proud of yourself for doing what you've done. Take care hun

I promise you will be fine in a few days sweetie, we all hit a wall after a few days called the booby blues like the other girls have said it is extremely common! Keep resting and drinking plenty of water and go for little walks outside -the fresh air and daylight will make you feel better!. xx

3 to 5 days after a GA it leaves your system and you get a big emotional crash. Even big burly blokes get it after a GA. Its normal. Things will seem better in a week, i promise you x
