Post by minxy106 24th April 2011, 5:04 pm

I'm now 16 days post op and I've been having some weird feelings in my left boob that I haven't had in my right. It's as though I can feel my implant moving around. When I lean forward, lie down or raise my arms I get a cramp like feeling at the side and bottom of my boob, sometimes it can be quite painful.

My boobs look the same shape, the left one doesn't look any different, it just feels strange. It's been like it for a few days now. Is it anything to worry about?

I've got a check up in 2 weeks time, but that seems so long away to wait. Should I phone hospital just incase?

HELP!!! nope

the feeling of the implants moving is totally normal, I freaked out about the same thing...especially when I leaned over, I dont neccesarily know if it will ever go away but you deffinetly get used to it..mine doesn't bother me anymore.
As for the cramping not sure, but I'm sure one of the ladies here know something about it Hug

Hi Minxy, don't panic hunny. I can relate to the feeling you are describing with regards to the implant moving about. It was like this only on my right breast for a few weeks but then settled. It's a very strange feeling and feel foreign doesn't it!

I didn't have any cramp type feelings but I think that may also be things just settling down. Remember there has been an incision made inside there hun and it has alot of healing to do and these sensations can feel odd and worrying.

As long as there isn't any hotness, redness, major swelling or big difference in size I wouldn't panic. However if you ever feel unsure about any of your symptoms then you should give your ps/hospital a ring and they can listen to your concerns and reassure you.

I hope you heal well and things settle soon hun xx

Im sure it is completly natural, ive heard th girls on here sayn similar things. Also, just because one boob is doing it and th othr isnt doesnt mean that its not normal, try not to worry n wait until ur app, it will ptob sirt itself out. If your still worried, why dont u ask one of th surgeons in th surgeons section of th forum? They usually reply pretty quick!
Good luck sweetie xxxx

It can take a little while for the implant to adhere to the pocket, be sure you're wearing a really supportive bra hun and aim for as little movement as possible of implant, day to day stuff is fine, so I'm not saying no movement at all sweetness, but nothing that's going to jiggle the implant around. It needs to be as stable as possible hunni, so a good sportsbra will help.. It's nothing to be concerned about this early post-op though sweetness, so rest and enjoy the rest of your recovery. xx

I had this too, it made me feel a bit sick everytime I leaned forward, but I did what cookie has suggested for you and wore a supportive bra and given a little time those weird feelings in my one boob went away.
