Didnt realise I was swollen?!Dont want to lose any Empty Didnt realise I was swollen?!Dont want to lose any

Post by xokerryxo 14th April 2011, 11:53 am

Hi Everyone,

Just had my stitches snipped and the nurse said I was healing very well but I was still quite swollen. Call me crazy but I didnt think I was swollen, my boobs are still really hard and "stuck on" , some yellow bruising at the cut etc but starting to take a better shape.

I am already feeling a bit sheepish as I am really not as big as I thought I would be (I rather embarassingly got really nervous about being tooooo big and had my surgeon bring the sizes down 12 days before op! I maybe even look a bit smaller with clothes and macom then I did with my padded bras pre op :tears: ) I just dont want them to dissapear, having nightmares about them deflating when they settle- like letting the air out of armbands lol~!

Please help ladies would love to hear your thoughts on the above!

I was a 36a pre op
Had 270 and 330 cc round overs.......

Thanks xxxx

Try not to stress too much about your size hunni, you're only 8 days post op, there will alot of changes for your boobs to go through yet. I went through exactly the same feelings, and I've lost count of the number of posts I've read from girls with exactly the same thoughts, you just need to give them time to settle. The sports bras don't give you the best shape, once you are wearing normal bras you'll feel alot happier, honestly hun.

Thanks Alfie,

Its so funny before the op I was convinced I would not think they were too small or impatient as I have read over and over to be patient etc and all the lovely advice on here..... but we all go through the same stuff and need the reassurance anyway! hehexx

Alfie is right babe, you're early days yet and need to give yourself time to adjust as well as giving your boobs time to heal and that sweetness take MONTHS! lol.

You just relax and make the most of your recovery hunni, as the weeks go on you'll see so many changes and what you have now is DEFINATELY not what you're going to end up with. Didnt realise I was swollen?!Dont want to lose any 571992

I actually told my surgeon I was scared they were going to go away. Twice. (At both of my post-op visits.) His words: "Nothing can make them go away."

Hugs, darling! We all feel these feelings, you're right. I was the world's worst. Crying my eyes out and typing on Google is how I found this forum! Give it all time (I am still trying to remember that.) Kisses! Xxxxxx
