Welcome to BJSF!
The Allergan Naturelle are a very good implant, they come with a lifetime gurantee and are FDA approved.
Allergan also make a standard implant called CUIs, these too are very good implants, they have a ten year guarantee and are not FDA approved.
Mentor is another FDA approved implant with a lifetime guarantee, these too are good implants.
And then there's the Nagor Impleo, these seem to be the most popular choice of the BAAPS surgeons that I've seen here in the UK, they have a lifetime guarantee, are British made but are not FDA approved.
All of the above seem to be the most popular used here in the UK. ALL these implants are safe, you will however pay a little less for the CUIs as they are a standard implant.

I couldn't really add to what cookie has written. I hope you find the right implants for you.

Thanks for the reply, its so confusing!! They all vary in price so much, I guess it depends on the quality of the implant and where you go to have the surgery.

Hi laura I just looked on your profile after you said you live in sussex, I do too, probably about a mile or 2 from you!
I decided to go to London for a couple of consultations as more well known surgeons seem to work from London and I didn't think it was too far to go.
I went to the main companies first, Transform and Mya, but I'm sure there are other private surgeons closer to home.
As for the implants, I had to pay about £350 extra for the Natrelle's.
xx

Ok thank you for your reply! Do you mind me asking how much you paid? My friend had hers done at transform 6 years ago she paid £4000 back then.

I paid 4100 all together with Mya, that included an overnight stay (which is 400 more than a day case) and the upgrade of implants too. So if I'd been a daycase with the standard implants it wouldve been about £3300.
I think Transform quoted me 4000 too, I'd say that's an average price you could expect. x

Re: Not sure what implants to go for?? Any advice?
Hi Laura,
I'm from Sussex too; I've had Natrelle (literally today) and yes they cost me more but remember that anything can be negotiated so you may be able to haggle the price down.
When you go to a consultation they usually have a standard (CUI) implant and a Natrelle one for you to feel; I liked Natrelle as they felt softer, less watery and much less prone to crease and ripple. But that's not to say that the others are crap, I've exaggerated the differences a bit but they're both good.
You should book a free consultation as there's no substitute for seeing and touching yourself. Also remember that EVERYBODY is flexible on price so having at least 3 different quotes from different companies means it's easier to ask for a discount.
Some other advice I have would be: don't put too much importance on the location. Yes it would be practical to go somewhere near but London is not far away, neither is the Midlands and many organise transport for you meaning you hardly have to think about it. The most important thing should be the gut instinct you have with the surgeon in my opinion. And it should be backed up by a flawless reputation and word of mouth if possible. This site is perfect to do your research.
If you want to ask anything feel free to send me a PM, I may add pictures when I get home but I'm still early stages.
Good luck!
