big blue veins
I am very fair skined so veins tend to show on me. I noticed a few more on my breast after surgery but I expected they would fade. Now here I am almost at my 4 week mark (where does the time go) anyway tonight I noticed my breast are covered in big veins!!! It just seemed to happen. I have been a little more tender today but I figured it was just more nerves healing. Now I am scared and the veins look awful!!!
Has anyone else had this happen to them?? Do they go away?

Re: big blue veins
Hey hun. I had veiny boobs before although very faint. And since my BA they are becoming more and more obvious!
My surgeon said as I had overs they could be more noticable! And that they may fade they may no.
I'm hoping once I can use sunbeds and fake tan again that they won't be as noticable xxxxx

Re: big blue veins
It is possible the veins might remain visible hun, but chances are they won't sweetness, at just 4 weeks post-op your skin will still be tight over the implant, as the skin relaxes, the veins will look less visible hun - Just give your boobs time to heal hun, you've still some way to go yet x
Re: big blue veins
Oh dear... Mine are overs too and I did not know that. I had a couple large ones right after surgery but that was expected and I was waiting for them to fade. When I showered yesterday I was admirring my boobs ( I am my own pervert. Always looking at them and touching themm ha! Ha!). Anyway they looked great other than the fact that I wish they were a tad bigger. Then a couple hours later they were covered in all these big blue veins!!! It is gross. Why now at 4 weeks would they appear and why are they sore again?
Hope your right and they go away cookie.

Re: big blue veins
I had the obvious blue veins for a while while my skin was stretch, when my skin got back to it's normal thickness the veins were not noticeable at all.

Re: big blue veins
I had and still have very noticeable veins as I am very pale skinned. They were worse during pregnancy (like a road map) and were the same just after BA but they are a little better now.
It's just one of those things hun, it's worth being a little veiny to have boobs I like.
