Is this a normal reaction after surgery?

I was expecting big bouncy DD's/E and was told this was achievable by my 420cc unders as I'm only a size 8 but they look nothing like what I expected. In fact I feel like I've just wasted 4 and a half grand :'( I'm devastated.

Hi Lolo
I am so sorry to hear you're happy at the mo :( Bless you.
I'm not talking from experience at all- as I am PRE BA, but I have read alot on here and it seems they take a long time (6months-ish) to settle.
I'm sure someone who knows what they're talking about will back this up xxx

Thats awful.Youre implants are very new though, and need time to settle. 420 sounds large for your small frame though, what size were you and what size were you aiming for? And for you to e so disappointed, What size have your 420's come out at? I am sure with time, they will settle and you will be happy. I have been told, though that you can only acheive so much being so small ( I am a size 8 myself and have 315's giving me a C Cup)...I am due for re-augmentation 26 April (ruptured due for replacement) and am petrified that I will feel the same as my surgeon seems adamant that my chest width will only take 295's...thats a big drop from 315...or 420's that you have! What implant are yours? xx

hi lolo, dont be too hasty or hard on yourself. I am pre BA but have been on a few boob forums for months and kno that what you have now will be very different to what you end up with in a few months time! I would imagine if you are a size 8 with 420's you will get your DD'S. Someone posted a site link on here with pics of ladies post op at different time scales, 3mth 6mths 1yr etc. Its amazing how some womans new boobs are still changing even a year later!! will try and find the link for u.xxx

aww yes it's normal to feel low at some point after surgery. Give it a few more days and you'll be feeling alot better and then as the weeks go on your boobs will look amazing, I'd be very surprised if they DIDN'T end up big boundy dd/e's like you wanted.
You'll get there, take care of yourself x

aww hun Hug
It IS completely normal to feel disappointed with them at this stage. I'm only a couple of weeks ahead of you, but honestly, the next few months are going to be a complete rollercoaster for all of us. I remember crying on about Day 4 because I thought they were too small, but I can assure you, they WILL change over the next few months. I posted yesterday excited cos mine have grown an inch since... I'm not sure if you've seen my pics, but anyone who has can testify how much they have changed over the last 2 weeks. If you want to see PM me and I can send you my password
If you have any pre op pics have a look, they'll honestly make you feel loads better. Patience is something I had to learn to get, but once I got over the first 2 weeks, I honestly realised they will get bigger and fluff and change and become more of the 'perfect' boobies I paid money for.
Make sure you come on here and rant cos that's what we're all here for xxx

I was a 32 B before and would guess that im a small D at the minute after having round textured 420cc silicone unders. I really hoped for at least a DD which my surgeon believed he could achieve with these implants, hence my disappointment.

Mimimax that link is brilliant! At the minute i would say i look pretty much the same as the 18 day post op picture of the first patient (althouth im only 4 days post op) so if i end up anything like hers do at the end i would be over the moon!! I didn't realise that they would look so different once they drop!

Thank you so much for that, you have managed to put a smile on this miserable face of mine!!! xxx

I don't see how your surgeon can say he can only get a 295 in when you already have a 315 in!? But its not that much smaller so i cant see it making too much of a difference really.

How long did yours take before you noticed them really drop?

Hello!

When I had my consultation I wasn't quite sure what size I wanted to be so I tried a few different sizes in my bra... my surgeon said for me 300cc.should take me to a D but it obviously depends on your measurements and BWD (I'm a size 8/10 with a bwd of 12cm) and also the projection and placement of the implant.

Did you get overs or unders?

Remember too that with unders you need to wait for them to drop and fluff. When I posted this thread I was very disappointed in my boobs but in the few days that have passed I can see and feel they have gotten slightly bigger. I tried on a 34DD bra and it fit nice and snug! :D

hello lola
I deffo think you will end up an DD/E more E i think with that size implant asit is quite large. I had 275cc and I ended up 28F/FF which is prob the same as 32DD and I was about 32B/C prev, i am also sure you have alot more changes to go. I hope you end up with results you wanted in the end boobsign

Do u mind me asking why you are having a smaller implant hun? x x

Mine took about 2 months to properly drop!!! They changed a lot in that period tho constantly. Its so hard to be patient tho. I remember x
