It's a kind of elasticated fabric band which fits round your body and presses your boobs down

Re: chest binder
Do you have a 6 week check up or anything? Can you call the clinic and ask?
I notice you had your BA with Mr Sulaiman, I have mine in 3 days... how was he? Are you pleased with the result? xx

Re: chest binder
Hi Sue, it's used by some surgeons to help force the implants to drop into the pocket properly.

Re: chest binder
Sorry Missy123, I think all (or most) of the THG surgeons ask you to wear them for at least 6 weeks. I was told at my 1 month checkup to continue to wear it as my leftie hadn't dropped as much as my rightie.

Re: chest binder
No, the nurse told me at my 1 month follow up that I had to keep on wearing it and I should have seen my surgeon last Monday, but he was running late and I had a couple coming to see me about their wedding, so I had to postpone it. I have been wearing it on and off since 8 weeks - if I'm going out anywhere then I'll take it off, if I'm just at home working, then I'll wear it.

Re: chest binder
Hey Missy,
I wear a chest binder! lol - I had no idea that was it's name, I just call it my strap. Anyway, I had my 1 week follow up yesterday and my surgeon is really happy with where things are settling. He even said I can "go easy" on my strap. My husband and I are like.... hmmmm how do I "go easy" on it?? The only thing I can really put it to is how I had to do it up pretty tight the last week so I've just loosened it so it's not quite so tight.
We need to have an emoticon wearing a Chest Bind - it would be so cute! hahah
You are sooo lucky to be at 6 weeks! I can't wait.

Ohhhh.... Missy! That's so great! You must be so happy to be all done with that strap! I can't wait to be done with mine! Did you do it up less tight towards the end?
It's tricky finding clothes to hide that darn strap! Your size sounds really great that you've been left with! I am thinking I'm going to be about 34D! I can't wait!
