Re: sports bra
I still like to wear a bra in bed oddly enough. When I asked at my 1 month appointment the nurse said I didn't have to wear one for bed and I thought "At last" - but after trying it for a few nights I went back to wearing one because it just feels more comfortable somehow.

Re: sports bra
I stopped wearing mine a few months after surgery. You may find they ache a little at first. Just make sure you're not in too much pain.
Re: sports bra
I can't wait to burn mine !! Only kidding I'm hoping in three weeks il be told I can wear normal bras and just keep the sports for sport x

Re: sports bra
Im a little confused, does wearing a sports bra help them stay in place or what?? I would think a sports bra would smush them. I was in the military and I wore a sports bra every single day lol

Re: sports bra
Hi Holly, it's just supposed to give you the extra support while sleeping against the evils of gravity and sagging. Not sure if it actually makes a difference because there are conflicting studies on it. A lot of people find it a comfort to wear them. I'm glad I'm shot of them.
Re: sports bra
I think the idea is to keep them in place (maybe)...but yeah...my bra sports bra does 'smush' them!
My surgeon recommended I buy a specific surgical bra by Macom and although its dead unsexy and my eldest daughter takes the p*** out of it cos it looks like top half of a naff swimming cossie...im actually still wearing it ocassionally.
I was told it wasnt neccessary any more 4 week ago and to go get measured...which I still havnt! Most days im just going bra-less...x
