Re: painkillers??
Hi
I was given co-dydramol tablets , why not let your PS know your problem in advance and the hospital may be able to give you some liquid painkillers of the same strength . Best of luck :-)

Re: painkillers??
Yes, you will get pain relief if you really need it sweetheart - some girls need it, some don't - the doctors or nurses will decide at the time. You will not be expected to put up with severe pain in any way.

Re: painkillers??
I was given tramadol hun, which are capsules with powder inside. I was a daycase and didn't need to take anything until the next day, then I stopped after day 2 and went to ibuprofen instead, as I didn't need anything stronger. But in all honesty you will be fine with liquid ibuprofen Or calpol (bless you..!) as you really won't be in pain - it's more uncomfortable and tight feeling rather than painful. And I'm normally a wimp!!

Thank u so much! I feel better that there are others out there! Haha!
I'm really used to the "your winding me up" talk! Haha. All the doctors chuckle as they give me my prescription in banana medine form! Haha.
How did you deal with pain relief after your BA?? Xxxx

Re: painkillers??
I had paracetamol after my op, yes prescribed lol and some antibiotics. I'm sure they will have something. I didn't have a morphine drip as they gave me painkillers while I was under GA. When I woke up they asked if I was in pain, I said yes even though I meant no lol so they gave me morphine in a cup, didn't taste of anything, I was so thirsty I'd have drunk water from a puddle lol
Re: painkillers??
I think I had some painkillers while under GA then had paracetamol and tramadol on prescription. I'm sure you could get some soluble ones if you mention it to them.

Re: painkillers??
