1 week photos

for those of you who have my username and password i uploaded some pics from friday my husband took, so 1 week post op... you can tell me what you think bc they stillo havent dropped so look weird, like a long flat oval shape... please tell me if this is normal or if i should be worrried that its my PS didnt place them correctly etc... thanks xoxox

hey, i think they still look like theyve got dropping and settling to do, but when they do that, theyre gonna look fab!! the size looks great.

yes, they still need to drop,,,, how the heck long does it take bc one is different than the other and its really bothering me and i feel like crying grrrrr... plus i had a private discussion with james and he thinks my ps used the sifde incsion to insert the implant which i told him i didnt want done, and im very ,mad now.... also my post op care sucked so far, i took off my own dressings at day 3, and today took off my steri strips by myself which i almost got sick and got a headache doing myself bc how the heck am i to know if im doing it right or going to mess it up.. sorry for venting...
ill pm u guys with my info and please tell me HONEST opinions i need to know if im going crazy or really should be grilling my surgeon when i see him,, i wont be offended by honest genuine remarks thanks

Just had a look kaboobie, I agree with Abbie, they look like they still need to drop yet, but it has only been a week hun.

I did wonder if that was what the incisions were for, as they were far too big to be drain holes. How annoying that he's done that without telling you though. Hopefully he'll have had a very good reason.

When do you go back to see your surgeon hun.

Aww hun, please don't feel like crying. Your boobs look completely normal for 1 week post op. They are swollen, but they will drop and look fantastic. In fact, have you seen this video:

I think this woman is more swollen than you to begin with, but you can see how hers dropped and looked really good after a little while. I hope it might reassure you a little.

I think that the result you've got is actually a very good one. You can see that the size and shape are going to be perfect on you once they've settled. People always say that each boob is like a separate operation, and as such they will heal at separate rates in their own time, so please don't worry. If I'm honest with you, I couldn't see a difference between them anyway, but it would be more noticeable to you because you're living with them.

But you're right to be angry with your doctor for going against your wishes. That's completely unacceptable, and for you to have to take your own steristrips off as well is mad. At this stage, you need all the help you can get, so I wouldn't be shy to ask for it. If you aren't up to it, maybe your husband could phone for you and explain how you're feeling? You've paid lots of money for this hun, so the least that they can do is provide you with some care!!!

Good luck hun, but please don't worry about the way your boobs look as it's clear they're going to look fantastic!!

I know yettiricey, I'm so glad I saw that before I went in for my op, because I never thought about what they might look like immediately after. I think I expected to walk out of the hospital with my brand new bikiniboobs or something - duh!!
It was definitely a reassuring video for me anyway! (another reason this forum is so wonderful!!)

Yes I agree Lindylou, I so wished I'd had something like this first time round, I didn't know of anyone who had had a BA and didn't know what to expect. A friend of a friend then was having it done and I became her friend after talking her through it. It's such a big decision but well worth it :-) I just love this sight and even though I've had 2 BA's already they were a long time ago and I've totally forgotten so many things.

Hi hun, thanks for letting me see your pics, your boobs look perfectly normal for one week post op, mine were very high and hard and the left was a completely different shape to the right for at least 3-4 weeks (sorry I am sure your as eger as I was for them to drop and settle).

Anyway, they I can tell they will be FAB and will change loads over the next few weeks x

they still look very odd shaped and flat at the front, which they are supposed to be high profile , unless they are supposed to drop a heck of alot more, not sure what will fix this???

Loubyroo, can I ask what size you were before and what size you are now? You look amazing.

Kaboobie I'm sure what you are experiencing is completely normal, I saw pics via utube the other week of the progression and it's exactly how you describe yourself. You will be amazed at how much they change of the weeks ahead. Would love to see pics if that's ok.
