Is there anything we can do to prevent CC?
I was just wondering if there was anything we could do to prevent CC? This is something that I think about a lot and I would, if I could really like to prevent this happening.
Sorry if this is a stupid question.

No question is a stupid question
Some people believe massage helps prevent the implant from creating the capsule but to be honest i think like all complications it's general luck of the draw and how your body reacts to the Implant.
Massage however is part and parcel of recovery so i'd say be sure to follow your surgeons advice on this and it's a good start.
Good Luck

Hah ha, as it happens yes I have!! I had a dream last week that I ended up with massive boobs! In the dream I was wondering around everywhere topless. I just put it down to the fact I am still debating on size and I am worrying that if I go for 365 it'll be too big!
So the dreams are perfectically normal then? I was starting to think I was going mad xx

Yes perfectly normal...how crazy do they seem though!! haha!!
I remember one of mine vividly, my implant fell down to my tummy area and i had to push it back up into place and bandage it up to stay there!
As for the size i always advice bigger the better because believe it or not they never look as big as they measure and 365 is not 'huge' and not far much more than 310 so you're not going to end up silly massive. I'm a 34G but you'd never guess looking at me.

Hi,
I'm having "Brazilian" implants- Polyerethane Foam Coated. The reason for this is that the risk of CC after 10 years is reduced to 1%.
The brand is Silimed and product number is 30622.

Thank you! Oh gosh..two different sizes, the one you can obviously see in the pic has 335 and the other was adjusted from 405 to 455 (i think!!) haha! Had to have different sizes due to complications but they are the same size now

Aw hun, as SS has said it really is luck of the draw unfortunatly as everyone's body adapts to the implant differently. They use textured implants and these can help, so can massage (if instructed by PS) and no smoking. Try not to worry, and the dreams are totally normal.

I think the girls have given you some good pointers there hun, I massaged for the first 2 months but haven't really carried on....I'm not sure if I should be though. xx
