When did you start wearing 'normal' bras?

Hey ladies, hope you're all having a relaxing Sunday and looking forward to your puds, I know I am, mmmm!!

Was just looking at all the beaut bras on my catalogue website which actully do my size and am tempted to start buying now!!! But I know if I buy now I will be dying to wear them, especially at the weekend when I'm going to stay in a hotel with my OH for his birthday.

So I'm just wondering when did everyone else start buying nice 'normal' bras (not sports bras) And when did you start wearing them?

I know you're supposed to wait untill a few weeks after to be on the safe side but my scars have healed beautifully already and I'm only 9 days in!

Honestly when did you guys give in and put a sexy bra on?

I have bought a couple of bra's in the post-christmas sales but just everyday ones (I dare not buy sexy bra's or spend alot as I am really hoping the fluffing fairy pays me a visit!) bug other than trying them on I am still in my support bras day & night. I see my PS a week on Friday and expect him to give me the OK to start wearing normal bras again x

TBH Hun if I was going away for a special occasion I wouldn't hesitate to buy and wear some sexy lingerie after all it won't be on for long!! :cheerlead:

Thank you Loubyroo! You're right, it will only be for 1 night, I will wear my sports bras most of the time anyway now I know just how comfy they are (Before my op I went braless as much as possible, especially in the house as the ones I had just got on my nerves)

I didn't wear an underwired bra until 6 weeks when I was given the go ahead by by nurse. I was far too scared of hurting my boobies in some way. Getting dents or affecting the pocket the implant sits in, lots of things ran through my mind.

I didn't wear one for 6 weeks either but a few days before the 6week mark I did go out a try some on cos I wanted to see what normal bras looked like. I guess one night wouldn't hurt but if it dont feel right then I'd take it off. x

I think you're right, I'll take my sports bra with me in my bag just incase it gets uncomfy, I'm only going to bre out 5 hours tops cos we're going to a show, so if needs be I'll slip off to the bathroom and change it.
I think I'll be ok though

I think 5 hours this early for underwire is a bad idea. If you could find one without or take the wires out you might be ok. I'd phone the clinic and ask.
