How did you decide what size?
As the title really. I am trying to read as much info as I can to make an informed choice. I thought I wanted a c/d but now I have been actively looking at photos of sizes I like, it turns out they are much larger, more DD/E. But am scared of looking too big or too small. AAhh, too much choice I think lol xx

Re: How did you decide what size?
Hehe... I drove myself insane with the decision.. I found pics of boobs I liked.
Originally Emma Glover was my ideal, then the more photos I saw I realised I wanted them bigger, more like Megan voss.
I saw my surgeon & decided on 700cc. Then changed my mind & ordered 615.
I still hadnt decided on the day of my surgery what I was going to have & left it to him to decide with the pics I had in mind.
Everyday I changed my mind.

Re: How did you decide what size?
Hi sweetie i'm in the same position and have my op on the 27th!!!!
Talking to everyone on here has really helped me to start making my decision though, i think i'd be more disappointed if they were to small rather than a bit bigger and i'm sure i'll get used to the size in no time.
I want a DD i've always known that it's just harder to pick cc size to make sure i get that!!!
Good luck xxxx

Re: How did you decide what size?
I think it's very hard to decide what size you want. I thought I wanted to be a D then changed my mind looking at pictures and thought DD. when trying implants on with my surgeon I pushed for a little bigger than he wanted to go and he said I would probably end up an E cup. In fact I ended up a 32FF and although it sounds huge they are the size I always wanted. They look like the pictures I took to my consultations. So I wouldn't worry too much about size, I'd worry about the overall look. Take pictures with you and show the surgeon, they will then be able to give you the look rather than the size you think you want.

Re: How did you decide what size?
I just told the surgeon what i wanted, initially i thought i wanted to be a full C turns out 32C isnt as big as i thought. My surgeon gave me a few sizes and said it was up to me i chose the 400's he said i would end up a DD/E and i did :)
I just listened to my surgeon really but also went for the bigger size of my choices as id realised i wanted them a big bigger than i thought at first Xxxxx

Re: How did you decide what size?
Thanks everyone, your comments are all really helpful. Had to send my husband to the shop to get me some lads mags so I can take some photos with me. I think I know what I want them to look like when they are all done, its just getting the surgeon to be on the same wavelength. I love seeing the post op avatars, its very inspirational and helpful to see stats too.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Re: How did you decide what size?
Agree with everything already said, plus choose a surgeon who listens to you and you feel you can trust. There is a recent thread on here from a postBA lady who is worried about the width of her implants and some discussion around size. Your natural breast width diameter if often a starting point for implant size, then the projection you want, leads to the size of implant in cc's. I found it helped to understand this, as surgeons don't talk in cup sizes. Also, when you go for you consultation, try them on and go by what you see in the mirror, rather than the numbers - my PS took photos on my phone which has really helped too. Good luck xx

Re: How did you decide what size?
I decided buy trying the implants on & seeing what size suited my frame.............which was the 410cc....but i then changed to 460cc as they come up slightly smaller one in you.
Its never a good idea to go in asking to be a certain cupsize as its almost impossible to say what size you will end up....you can get 2 girls with the very same pre-op stats & start with the same boob size , have the same sized implants say 410cc but come out 2 completely different bra size's post-op
So try them on & go with what suits you

Re: How did you decide what size?
Thanks, thats so true about sizes looking different on different people. I think I need to get "cup size" out of my head and try and stop obsessing so much over how big to go...
yeah right lol!

Re: How did you decide what size?
Hun i went in not understanding bras size's at all & went in hoping for a 34DD look but i measure a 28-30 back ( didnt no that at the time!lol) so the surgon though i wanted to have 30DD which is way smaller then 34DD................his face was a picture when i started with the 3 biggest sized implants!.......he said ' err youll get you DD & more lol' but thank god he didnt try & get me to have smaller implants thinking i wanted 30DD's ...he must ave known i didnt have a clue about bra size's & now im a 30G which looks like a 34DD which was the size bra i pick out & liked
So its a good thing i picked my implants size by what i thought suited me not buy the bra size i liked as i could have ended up ALOT smaller by accident
Hope this makes sense lol

Re: How did you decide what size?
Crystal, it does thanks. There is an actress called Jessica-Jane Clements. Her boobs are exactly what I want but she is a 30DD or 30F depending what I read. I am a 34 back and a size 12 so am bigger in body than her. Just going to show the surgeon her pics and see where to go from there. xx

Re: How did you decide what size?
I told my surgeon what I wanted (a natural C cup) and let him choose the right implant for me. Surgeons are experts on anatomy and know what will suit your frame, as long as you eplain to your surgeon exactly what you want (pictures can help), they will know which size will get your ideal result.
