Scared of being mega swollen!
Could someone pls tell me how long they were mega swollen for? I'm REALLY worried about my return to work. I work on a mining site with my partner. It's predominantly male but quite a few females too. My ba is thurs 27th and I fly back to work on Friday 4th Feb.
I'm so worried about looking ridiculously swollen. I wear very loose fitting button up shirts ( like trade guys wear) and have been filling my bra for the past month or so. Crazy I know but my friend who has them advised me to do so.
Mum is kindly looking after me for that week at home which is fab. The less I do that week the better. If I'm not doing so well I'll taken another 3 x leave and fly back Monday 7th Feb but if I can help it I won't.
At this stage partially under but still to be confirmed.
Help!!

Re: Scared of being mega swollen!
Hi hun, mine were never mega swollen, just sat a bit higher than boobs normally do. Unfortunately your in Oz so it will still be hot there so you can't do what we girls have been doing in the UK at the moment - walk round in baggy sweaters. Perhaps get a slightly larger button up shirt so it doesn't hug your figure so much and you will probably be fine.

Mine were noticably swollen for a week or so then they were just quite hard and sat high up on my chest. If your wearing loose tops then you should be fine though. x

I wasn't swollen either hun, my boobs just sat higher up, as Carol has just said. Your sports bra will hold them in and if you wear a slightly looser shirt you should be ablt to conceal them. xx

You should be fine. I was a little swollen but more pointy and high up. The sports bra should hold them in as others have said and if you wear a loose fitting shirt i'm sure it won't be that noticeable.

Hi Mima
Well Im like you. I work in an all male envrionment and padded my bras out starting about 6 wks pre BA and also wear the kinda polo shirts that tradesmen wear. Looking back Im surprised they didnt notice the padding, but the work shirts do hide a multitude of sins, as lets face it they're not very flattering in the first place!!!! But absolutely no-one has noticed and mine are now slightly bigger than they were with all the padding and still under my chin. Also as I have been told not to wear a bra, I thought this might be more obvious but I just wear a strappy vest under my work shirt. I really wouldnt worry xxx

Re: Scared of being mega swollen!
Hooray thanks so much for your feedback. I feel so much better now. Mining sites can be just as gossipy as small towns. Guys love gossip more than girls!
Two of the shirts are quite a bit bigger than the others so I'll wear them to death.
If I'm careful at work and get thru the 6 days on site I'll then get another 6 days off. I'm sure by that stage I'll be feeling quite a bit better
I can't wait now :cheerlead:
