Ropey scar Empty Ropey scar

I only got to see my scars for the first time this morning while changing the steri strips. I noticed that the scar under my left breast is looking kind of thick and ropey compared to my right one. The strange thing is, it's my right scar/ stitches that have been bothering me more with itching and tugging! Neither scar looks infected or red, but I'm wondering if this 'ropey'ness on my leftie will go?

Both of mine are red still & quite thick, I still have some scabbing too.. I think it just takes time.

Hi hun, my right scar was totally ropey until a couple of days ago! Leftie healed beautifully and was smooth straight away, I guess they just have different recovery speeds! I'm sure you'll notice a difference soon x
