Who wants a really natural look?
Each to their own, of course, but I've realised that shape is far more important to me than size... I really want a totally natural look and I'm just wondering who else wants to have really natural looking breasts and what you're having (or have already had to achieve them)??... the "fake" look can be stunning too but seeing as I want to keep what I've done on the down-low it's just not what I'm after.
Also, has anyone ever picked a person from one of the many before and after galleries online and said "I want those" and then managed to get something similar?
(I'm thinking of my "ideal" pics and whether I'm unrealistic to think I could get something similar...)

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
I think my perfect boobies (from the side at least) are like these:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Hope that link works, they should be the first boobs that load up and are described as "29 yo Female, Nil Pregnancies, 440 FX Anatomical (Teardrop) Implant, Submuscular Pocket, Patient's Height 6 f, Full C- Cup"
I think considering her size in her before pic she's got a stunning result, although I really wish I could see them from the front as well, as side profiles can be deceptive. I just love the natural sort of slope she's got... Anyone else after (or had) this sort of result?

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
I went for the 'natural' look, I didn't really have a picture in mind just that I wanted a nice shape. I wanted my upper pole filling so I had a nice profile and thankfully, I achieved that.
My hubby didn't want me to go too big either, so although I've gone from a saggy 36b to a pert 36F they still don't look BIG, just youthful and PERT!!!
I could never wear nice strappy tops or anything because I just had no shape, but now I have what I've always wanted.....

Hello
Hi lindylou22,
I am the same, I want a natural as possible looking breast, shape is my main priory and then a size that will maintain the natural looking effect I want.
I cant really offer much help as still Pre BA.
The pic you have is good and I agree the results are good considering what she did have. If you look on this site they also have some good looking results.

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
Thanks vision!!! I love some of the results in that gallery! The girl on the top right on page 2 (with tan lines) has an absolutely beautiful shape from the front, although she's smaller than what I want to be. She's in my ideals folder along with the very first woman!! It's just really frustrating with that gallery because they give you no idea of size of implant or placement etc...
I think I must have scoured every gallery there is trying to find someone who is 23ish, 5ft7ish, 34a, and had anatomical dual plane nagor implants around 300cc....
I now ignore the before pics and just look at the afters, and if they've got the sort of result I want, I put them in my folder for the surgeon to see.
Congrats Angie, it's always reassuring that our surgeons are able to give us exactly what we're looking for!!

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
Thank you hattie, that would be great!! I'm interested to hear you have rounds... my surgeon did offer me rounds at first and I was horrified as I thought with having such little breast tissue already that I would get that fake victoria beckham style look, but I've actually seen a lot of women since who have rounds and have managed to get a natural look.
I've breastfed 2 babies and he assures me that I have enough tissue on my upper pole (pinch test) to cover rounds adequately... but he also changed his mind halfway through and decided I could get the result I want with dual plane anatomicals. Who knows!!

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
The thing I notice about the physique of that example is that she's got a very long drop from her shoulder to her nipple (which is like me)....I too have had partials - they're full height full profile - but they were advised by my PS because of this long 'drop' to get the natural look I wanted (hoping to be a little larger than your example, but not much more - maybe 32D-DD). He explained that the higher profile the drop, the less 'stuck on' my BA would look! (I hope that makes sense?)
I think it depends on what your shape is, as to whether you can achieve this or not - if you only have a short distance between shoulder and nipple, then your implant may 'project' more and have a less gradual 'slope' (unless you use a smaller implant)! But if you have a long drop like your example (and likely have partial unders as well) then I don't see why it couldn't be achieveable!
I think the best thing is to take this pic (along with others that maybe show a straight on and clear side shot to a few PS's and see what they say. It might be worth looking at the 'before' pictures too, to see whether they are like you now (to give a clearer indication of whether that shape might be acheiveable with your physique)?
Good luck with your research hunnie!

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
Thanks Jellytot.... and therein lies exactly my problem!!
I have breastfed two children, but despite this, the distance from my shoulder (or sternal notch actually) to my nipple is 16cm... I'm 5ft7 and I feel like this is a fairly short distance... my surgeon recommended that I use moderate height implants not full height... but that is one of my concerns about achieving the look I want is that my "high" boobs might get in the way. It does tend to be, as you said, women with naturally longer distance that seem to get what I'm after...
hmmm...

I too breastfed 2 children and am 5'7"...I've just looked at my notes and it says that my drop from my sternal notch is 20cm (which was considered 'long' so I guess you're more 'typical'?).....I can't see why you can't acheive the look you're after, but it may mean that you would need a smaller volume implant (which you may then consider 'not worth it' if it doesn't increase your size 'enough' - whatever you might consider 'enough' to be)?

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
Oh well it's a relief to know I'm typical then!! I don't know why I feel like they're so high... I just have a really warped view of my own body I think!!
Come to think of it... I would love to see a gallery of pictures that we all drew of ourselves... I bet it would look hilariously different to what we're actually like!!
I'm all messed up Jellytot... at my consultation I was so concerned with the idea of hiding my BA afterwards that I told my surgeon I wanted modest size improvements from 34A to large B/small C... now if I wasn't worrying about what people thought, I would definitely want to be at least a C... My surgeon recommended the dual plane anatomical, moderate height 280cc... which he thinks will achieve the look I want...
I shall have to tell him I think a bigger size implant would be best, as long as I can still get that "natural" shape... my ribcage is 29.5in, so fairly wide, and as I'm 5ft7 I'm sure I could take a bigger implant...
*Bleurgh* if only I didn't have to wait until february 21st for 2nd consultation and March for op!!!!!

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
If it's any help I think that how I look with clothes on is not vastly different to how I looked pre-ba with gel bras etc etc - so I don't think it will be 'obvious' to others unless you have a massively different size to how you are now - an increase in even 3 sizes won't be noticeable enough for people to automatically guess you've had a BA (if you're concerned about that?)
Another thing I'd say is that even though I too want (and have hopefully got) the natural look, I can't help thinking that maybe I should have gone a 'bit' bigger (after all, considering how much we're paying for it, it should be kinda noticeable huh??? lol) There's much talk about 'boobie greed' and I think what it is really is that once you've had your BA you very quickly get used to the new size (and realise that the DD's you 'thought' sounded massive are actually kinda normal sized when you see them in real life! lol)
I guess what I'm saying is - if in doubt, err on the side of 'extreme'! lol

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
I want a natural look as well... I want them to look pert and not too saggy, but not TOO pert - I don't want the shelf on the top of my boobs lol, I don't think it'd suit me. I don't mind telling some people that I've had them done (as long as they're not going to be too judgemental) but I don't want people to just be able to tell by looking! Some of those pics look really nice, though I was thinking the same thing about side views being deceptive sometimes =[
About people noticing though - I once walked round town with ricies in a 32E bra, so 3 sizes bigger than I was at the time. I didn't run into anyone I knew, but when I left I felt sort of self-conscious that people would be staring at me, but obviously I was the only one who knew lol, nobody else gave me a second glance! Lately my boobs have grown almost a cup size by themselves, and nobody noticed (probably because I normally pad them anyway lol) and then when I put about another cup size's worth of padding in my bra once, one friend did notice. I told her I was going through puberty again ;) after all, women's bodies do change a lot anyway, right? So it didn't have to be a lie ;D you could always go for a gradual change in padding up until your op, and then people are less likely to notice =]

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
Good suggestion Pixie... I've been too open in the past with my M-I-L who knows exactly how small I am and exactly how padded my bra is. These days she can tell exactly which bra I'm wearing just by looking at me!! She's the one person in the world I would wish to hide it from if I could, and the one person in the world who's the most likely to notice of her own accord! I don't care too much about anyone else, especially people I don't know.
Actually jellytot... that is a massive help! The thing is, on paper, your stats say you went from 32B to 34DD... to my pigeon brain that sounds like a massive increase that would be blatant through clothes... but as you're saying, what with padded bra's and all, it probably isn't as noticeable. My S-I-L who recently had it done was an A and went up to a D, and honestly if she hadn't told me I would never have suspected!
What would I do without you girls?!... Probably spend 4.5k just to still wear padded bras for the rest of my life lol!

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
Ok, so according to those ever innacurate bra measuring things, I've measured around myself whilst wearing my biggest padded bra, and I'm making it a 34B...
Jellytot... do you know your measurement around the fullest part of your breast? (if you don't mind telling me?) I'm assuming it must be around 39in if those bra measuring systems are to be believed??
I'm going to stuff a bra with something until I get the measurement of between 36 and 37 inches, and hopefully that should give me an idea of what a 34C/D actually looks like...
:dunno:

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
That's so true jellytot, I don't notice any difference size-wise in clothes either, but I do have a nice 'profile' now (which is what I wanted most) so I do actually have some 'shape' in clothes now....If it's any help I think that how I look with clothes on is not vastly different to how I looked pre-ba with gel bras etc etc - so I don't think it will be 'obvious' to others unless you have a massively different size to how you are now
Also true, I thought a DD cup (which is my sportsbra size at the moment) would have had me looking like JORDEN....but No, it hasn't. And yes, you certainly do get used to your new boob size quite quickly, but I'm still happy with what I've got.....There's much talk about 'boobie greed' and I think what it is really is that once you've had your BA you very quickly get used to the new size (and realise that the DD's you 'thought' sounded massive are actually kinda normal sized when you see them in real life! lol)

lindylou, for what its worth, if youre a 29 inch rib cage, you should be wearing a 30 band bra, or at the most a 32, and maybe go up a cup size

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
Well......I just happened to have measured myself 2 days ago (and of COURSE I don't mind telling you my measurements then!
I was 31" under my bust and 37" over the fullest part (so by that calculation I'm measuring a 32DD I think? - although I'm wearing 34DD bra's at the moment - but that's more because I don't want so much pressure on my scars). Pre BA I would wear 32 B gel padded bras, which would take me to probably a C size? I think the main difference now is that I'm 'fuller' around the side of my breasts - but that is the area that is less noticable when clothed!

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
I've read that Abbie, but I literally can't squeeze myself into a 30! Even a 32 feels tight sometimes. I probably am a 32, but I don't like wearing 32b bra's as they look too small, so I buy 34b instead and let the cups hang off me!!... they feel like a nice fit around the ribcage though :dunno:
Thank you Jellytot... I'm off to stuff my bra until I measure 37 inches around and see what it looks like lol! :-)
a 34C would be about the equivalent of a 32D wouldn't it?? Maybe I'll be a D cup after all!! yay!!
Thanks for all your help girls... you're all awesome!!

Re: Who wants a really natural look?
Urgh measurements!! I measure barely a 34A, but the band is so loose on me it's ridiculous ><
I was going to say though, if you want to find out what a particular size looks like, buy a bra in that size (that looks like the right size too, sometimes they're bigger or smaller than you think -_-) and stuff it at home. Then if you leave the tags on you can just return it the next day ;D or alternatively you could just go to a lingerie shop with a load of padding in your bag, take a few of your normal size bras and one of your ideal size (you can even put it on a different hanger just for effect!) and stuff it in the changing rooms. Take a pix on your phone for reference or something, and when you take it out you can be all 'oh gosh, I hadn't realised I'd picked up this super-sized one! Silly me, haw haw!' and walk off smirking cause you know what size you're going to be later!

Ha ha that made me laugh! ..................................... Good idea though!
I have been looking for a cheap bra to stuff! I just tried some rice boobies 200 ml they looked bigger than my padded bra but then I think the rice boobies got cc and went all hard! Hope the real ones dont! eeek.
