Re: April Buddies!
Shanny I have understand too, and have to wear a very tight band! It is to push the implant down because the muscles are tight and will let them rise up without the band pushing down. I am now 11days post op and feel great! I have felt fine for about 5/6 days so you'll soon be fine! I managed to sleep on my side on Thursday so 8th night. I'm very stretched in the middle and swollen because obviously my skin has been stretched out, but slowly reducing day by day. Hope this makes u feel a but better that it's not just u.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!! And hope you love your new boobs as much as I love mine!!!
Xxxx

Re: April Buddies!
I dont have a strap on, and I have been given water proof plasters to use in the shower. I can lift my arms but only for few mins to quickly brush my hair I wouldn't manage to wash it. As for sleeping I am fine on my back, I tried lying on my side the other night and near dyed from how uncomfortable it was.
Re: April Buddies!
Ah thanks smurph532 that helps me alot, i wasnt sure why i had to wear the strap but that makes sense. So hopefully not long then. I am struggling to get up when i lay down is this normal? i can feel when i move my top half is this normal?
Sorry for asking all these question but just worried?

Re: April Buddies!
You know, maybe I'm naughty, but I just did what I felt I could do.
The 1st day, I could lift my arms without pain or restriction to tie my hair up, so I did.
On day 3 I shaved, couldn't stand it any longer haha.
By day 4, I could lie comfortably on my side, so I did. I do try and lie on my back but it's just more comfortable halfway on my side.
I was allowed to shower, but didn't bother straightaway. I did however wash my hair over the bath on day 5 and found this ok.
I'm trying not to do too much, but honestly, I have 4 kids, all at home, and today I'm on my own as hubby is back to work.
What the heck am I supposed to do?
I'm taking it as easy as I can in the circumstances......I do envy all you girls recovering with no children, or living at home still.

Re: April Buddies!
Right there with you Gaddy I have been at home with my kids by myself since yesterday. Rest what the hell is that??????//
I have hovered today that wasn't so good but managed, cooked lunch had a bath, although I had my lad holding the shower and my daughter shampoo and condition my hair. She even gave it a bit of a blow with the dryer and plated it for me.
I can't sleep on my side yet as that does still hurt a bit, but then I am not taking any pain killers either.

<High fives Butterfly!!>
Well, I've also hoovered my floors, but they are wooden, so not too bad, but then I did mop them and that hurt afterwards, so I left the other rooms.
I'm now more concerned with the fact that my boobs look rather marvellous, but rather big!
I know I'll likely think otherwise in a few weeks when I get used to them & possibly develop boob greed.......
*sigh*
I'm torn.....I don't know whether they're too big (30E) and it's swelling, which will reduce the size or whether they'll stay the same size (there doesn't seem to be that much swelling tbh) and then I'll fluff later on and they'll get even bigger!!
God, I thought all the worrying about size was done before the op!!
What do you think?

Re: April Buddies!
I have wooden floors to hun so that part wasn't to bad but then I tried to hoover the rug I have and that was not good at alllllllll lol, the mopping thought popped right out of my head after that xxxx
SIZE omg that is the question. I am filling my 34DD support bra and I am happy with this size more that happy I dont think I have much swelling either tbh with having drains in I think the swelling does go down a little faster, but I dont want to loose any size now so my fingers are truly crossed that (A) they stay as they are or (B) the fluff fairy visits.
I also thought the size worry would be over with but I think its here even worse than before now xxx

Yeah shanny more a case of having to than wanting to though lol.
Sleeping is still a pain in the back side and my bed is so old it just doesn't help. When do you go back to see your PS shanny? I am back Wednesday and hoping my plasters can come off and STAY off xxx
