Naturally high boobs???
Hi everyone!
I'm 5ft7 and although I've breastfed two children and my boobs are a little "empty", they've always sat kind of high on my chest (atleast I feel like they're quite high). I'm currently a 34A and my measurement from my sternal notch (hope that's the right term) to my nipple is 16cm... does anyone else have roughly this measurement before their surgery?
Because they're so small they don't look too high, but I was wondering about once the implants are in... will they still be the same height as my boobs are now? I've heard a lot of people talking about implants sitting high, but I mean, when they do drop, will the crease of my breast still be where it is now, or will it be a little lower on my chest?
I know it's kind of strange to want lower boobs but I feel like if I was a 34D I'd have cleavage up to my neck... any one else with any experience of this
(before or after surgery)?
Hope I make sense!

Re: Naturally high boobs???
I found my boobs (when dropped) seemed lower. Maybe it's just that I had nothing to fill them beforehand or gravity of the implant. I think it's a good idea to discuss this with your surgeon so he can tell you exactly what he is going to do for you.
Re: Naturally high boobs???
Yeah I definitely will, thanks for your reply! Thinking about it, he did say he was going to give me moderate height anatomicals instead of full height ones, and also that he was going to use a dual plane...
I just read this:
"Another aspect of location is how high to put the implant. A great example of this is women who have a small amount of sag. Here, it becomes useful to place the implant slightly lower so that it gives the breast the appearance of a breast lift. This is done by completely releasing the Pectoralis Major and Serratus Anterior muscle at its lowest point. This is called a "Dual Plane" implant placement. Dual plane means that the lowest part of the implant is actually not under muscle. Here, the fold below the breast is lowered slightly. Care must be taken to not lower it too much as this can create a "bottoming out" appearance. "
I guess that sort of answers my own question... but I'd love to hear from anyone who's had this done!

Re: Naturally high boobs???
Hay Hun .....Mine sat about 2 inches higher then the 'Normal' girls boobs & now i have very bottom heavy boobs............I was unhappy about this at 1st but was told that the surgon couldnt have put my implant any higher as it would have looked odd & they would have sat under my chin .......
My nipples also as they were 2 inches higher then the 'normal' girls sit higher on my boobs which increases the bottom heavy look but most people think this look is a good one.
I was never told at my consultation that my boobs sat higher then normal & only found out when i said i was not happy that they were so bottom heavy & that was the reason i was given.
I personally would have rather had my implant pocket made a inch higher to try & even them out a bit but he just said its just not possible & i would have boobs that sat abnormally high.
Id talk to your surgon about it & get him to measure if your boobs are actually higher then normal and then take it from there..
I have just read the about post & i do agree with this comment -Care must be taken to not lower it too much as this can create a "bottoming out" appearance. "........Mine are so bottom heavy i thought at 1st i had bottomed out but I have not im just bottom heavy

Re: Naturally high boobs???
Thanks for your reply hun! I noticed you had overs... were they anatomicals or round?
When you say bottom heavy, do you mean they purposefully gave you a low implant pocket, but it's left the upper plane of your breast emptier than you'd have liked?
I can't believe they didn't tell you at your consultation though, especially as it made a difference to the way they performed surgery! Do you know what the average distance to the nipple is? It's something like 20cm isn't it?
Thanks for your explanation though, I'll definitely make sure to mention it to my surgeon again next time... perhaps he will be able to give me an estimation of where the crease will be afterwards?!
