Sticky stuff remover...? Empty Sticky stuff remover...?

Post by MrsMartini 29th January 2009, 10:39 am

I'm going to have my mega-strapping removed tomorrow. My surgeon was Mr Kazzazi & if anyone's had him or seen pics of his work you'll know what I'm talking about, it's like thick white carpet tape & I'm wrapped in it like an egyptian mummy!!

How on earth am I going to remove all the sticky stuff?? Any clever ideas?? I've only just managed to stratch off the tiny bits of sticky left from the plaster on my arm where the drip was!!

I know there's something called Sticky Stuff Remover from Lakeland but I don't have time to order it!

I was told to use a hairdryer to loosen the glue... but it still hurt like hell! In the end my OH just ripped it off like a bandaid. Painful but it was over quickly! I used baby oil to get the residue off.

you can buy some stuff called "Zoff" from Boots the chemist (you'll have to ask for it)that gets sticky plaster gunk off a treat, but i think its quite expensive. Xx
