Vests with built in support
What are your thoughts on wearing vest tops with the built in support instead of a sports bra post op? I'm going out for a friends 30th birthday next weekend and I'll be 5 weeks po so do you think it would be ok to switch it up for the night? Really struggling looking in my wardrobe to find something nice that's wearable with this ugly thing lol

I should think you would be fine with that hun, if it's just for a few hours, but I wouldn't wear underwire until you are given the go ahead to do so

Ive been wearing supportive vest tops since my op as my surgeon advised me too...very comfy. Got them from m & s. I also wear sports bras but was told I could wear both. Will continue to wear them after 6 wks I think

Re: Vests with built in support
Can you Email your surgeon or call your clinic for advice hun?. Remember what may be OK for one lady isn't necessarily OK for all so it's always best to check with your own surgeon/clinic to be sure all is well, afterall you've paid a lot of money for your surgeons advice sweetie, if they feel it's OK for 'YOU' based on 'your' healing and what your surgeon wants from your recovery then go for it hun! If not then follow the advice given by your surgeon, a night without the sportsbra when you're instructed to wear it just isn't worth risking your recovery hun. xx
