CC, 2nd out and placement change Empty CC, 2nd out and placement change

Post by sars3dd 17th November 2010, 8:49 pm

Well i seen my surgeon today about my second op to get expander changed. Well i have CC and need my implants dropped slightly and implant placement changed from under muscle to dual plane. I new something wasnt right as my boobs are very flat looking. Anyway he did say size wont change much so i am a 34c or 32d with 420cc and 520cc implants. I still dont look in proportion at all but when the surgeon offered bigger implants i said no as i dont want to risk CC. clearly my body isnt liking this and i dont want to push it x

You have CC? What bad luck, so sorry. At least they're willing to fix the problems. Do you have a date for your re-op?

do bigger implants have more risk of CC then? I thought you said you would like to go bigger?

Good luck with whatever you decide and hope this is all over for you soon x

When they change the placement of the implant (and I assume replace the expander with an implant) then I bet you end up a cup size bigger once they settle into place.

Good luck xxx

Sorry to hear you have CC sars. Hopefully you won't have to wait long for your op. And hopefully once the position is changed and they settle down you'll get a better size

I'm sorry to hear you've got CC Sarah. All I can really say is I know what it's like {{hugs}} I am so relieved your surgeon recognised you were developing it, I know this doesn't give you much comfort but trust me it is better now rather than later.

So are your implants completely under the muscle now?

I didnt think they were completely under the muscle now but when i asked him he said they were but he will swtich to dual-plane.

I would love to get bigger implants but i wont take the risk now. I will just be happy with getting the placement changed. I hope the placement change is enough to fill out the bottom part more and i dont need the uplift.

I dont have a date for the next op, just a wait and see when a cancellation comes up. Am nnot really in any pain so not to worried as i know it will be sorted soon.

Still cant believe it though, i knew something wasnt right but didnt even think of CC. xx

Do your boobs look different? My first hint of something not being right was feeling like I had slept on my side/boob funny then my boob started swelling up - not so much I freaked out or anything but enough I took some anti-inflammatory tablets. It was my hubby that first noticed things didn't look right i.e.wonky! CC can really hurt I went through different stages with mine if you tell them it is hurting I am ust wondering whether they will give you a date quicker to get things sorted. x x
