The BIG reveal!! (got strapping off today!)

Oh my gosh and I am soooooooooo pleased :boobchick: Yippee!!!!!

Had to drive to cardiff and back so for me this was a 3 hour round trip for a short in and out 10 minute appointment to see my nurse but what the heck I am so thrilled with the results.

I am REALLY glad that I did not go against my surgeons advice and push him for the 525's personally I think they would have been too big (besides all the added complications for me).

My scars look YUK! little concerned that they look all wonky and almost like the skin is pinched but I have been reassured they will straighten out as they heal. (no pictures of the scars)

It was a laugh getting the strapping off (not!!) but the nurse said I was lucky as often surgeons put in all around the boobs not just across the top. Scars are healing well and my boobs are nice and soft.

The nurse said my bra is too big around the band width - well I knew that to be fair as it started riding up my back today, so I urgently need to buy a new bra or two in a smaller back BUT the F cup fits perfectly and even more so now the strapping is off, I am filling out the cups so goodness knows what size bra I will have to buy (currently in 34F)

Next appointment is at 6 weeks with the nurse again and I will see the surgeon around the 6 week mark again. I CANNOT wear underwired bras until my surgeon gives me the go ahead but I CAN sleep on my back now???? I personally don't feel ready so will be sleeping upright for a bit longer!!

So in a nut shell a GREAT appointment :thumbs: . I wanted to recreate my pregnancy boobs and I am pleased to say that is what I have got!! It's so nice not to feel I look like a total freak with odd boobies and instead have 2 very round, soft babies staring back at me

Just remember if you go down in the back you need to go up in the cup to get the same size of cup if that makes sense?!
So 32FF, 30G etc.

Thanks Alt_Barbie - I am "assuming" you will have overs rom just taking into account your current size but like I say I am "assuming" but my point is overs tend to settle quicker than unders, so I am impressed how quickly mine are settling down (I can see they need to settle a lot more yet though) x Don't feel worried it's soooooo EXCITING!!!! x

Congratulations - you seem to have got your boobs sorted out quicker than I have the bridesmaids dresses for daughter's wedding (if you remember that was what we were trying to do in Bristol while you were having your BA) just had delivery from Debenhams - only 3 dresses have arrived should be 4, but just rang the on line order phone number and they said they need to get another one from a store then they will send it!!! More stress!!!!!!!!

Did someone drive you to Cardiff or did you manage it by yourself - (I mean after so recently having BA - not your driving capabilities!)

LOL!! that made me laugh! I actually managed to drive myself, 5th gear was a challenge and looking over my blind side but overall actually pretty painless! My Mum did come with me but she is scared to drive on the motorway - the company was reassuring though!!

Sorry to hear the dress saga has not ended yet....cross fingers it'll all be sorted after you recieve this last dress :good: x
