swimming??camping??
hi i am going camping next week with the oh my kids and my sister her oh and kids, i know its gonna be cold at night so will be taking lots of covers.... we are camping on a site where there is an indoor pool and i was wondering if i can go swimming yet? i wont be doing lots of swimming just sitting probably but not sure if the chlorine is bad for my scars? my steristrips have now come off and i am healing well.

Remember hun that you're still at risk of infection so going into a public swimming pool where you've no idea what anybody who gets into it has got isn't a good idea.
Wait till you get the all clear from your PS babe, it's usually around 6 weeks post op as Abbie says.

I am a swimming teacher and I had to wait a full 6 weeks due to the risk of infection. An indoor heated pool will be a hotbed of stuff you don't want anywhere near your incisions.
