swimming after BA
totally random but how soon after can you go swimming ?
i take my friends blind daughter 3 times a week as she has a brain tumour and is vey obeses because of it .. so to try to kepp weight at a control level its important for her to go.. both my sis will be able to take her for few weeks
but how long is it going to before i can go ? x

I was thinking the same thing hunny as summer is coming and the boys love swimming lol. I'm not sure so will ask my ps on Tuesday, I've got a last few questions I need to ask him xx

It's going to be 6 weeks post-op till you can return to swimming babe, sorry I know that's probably the last thing you wanted to hear.
Your wounds will still be prone to infection early post-op sweetness so you'll be advised to stay away from public pools, spas e.t.c anything that has the possiblity of spreading infection as anyone can use these areas you never know what you may pick up in there hun. xx

hi, well as i typr i am.sitting in a spa for my sisters hen do...and ive been swimming and im.just over five weeks . i had had my check up with th nurse on friday and she said i will be fine now for all water activitiea. it depebds on how ur scars r healing. xx

i had my 4 week check yday and my ps told me i can do what ever i want. swimming,gym etc so u may be lucky to and be able to go sooner than 6 weeks :) xx

go with someone who can swim, n stick to the shallow area of th pool, and if ur worried u can just put ur feet on th floor, so no one need see u either. it will come really naturally im sure x
