ARGH!!!!
ARGH! The wonderful, snotty children I work with have given me a horrid cold, usually this wouldnt bother me but I have my Pre op assessment on monday!! Will this matter at all? So scared they might pick up on the smallest thing and say "noooooooooo bugger off!!" lol. Think I'm starting to panic, I'm so close but there is still time for this to be snatched away from me :( x

Re: ARGH!!!!
Nahhhh, you're a month away from your surgery hunni so if you're gonna catch a cold, best you do it now!
They won't be interested in whether you have a cold so far away from surgery hunni, it just an appointment to go through your general medical details. ensure you have a safe BMI and to take pre-op pics. If felt necessary you'll also have blood tests done possibly an ECG and tests for MRSA, but not everyone has those. xx

Re: ARGH!!!!
You should be fine. Having a cold at pre op appointment shouldn't be a problem.

Re: ARGH!!!!
Hopefully your cold will be gone in time for your op hun,i think it would only be a problem if you had a bad chest infection as that would hinder your breathing under the anaesthetic etc.Good luck and hope you feel better soon x
