If you are going to have rippling you will notice it pretty much as soon as the swelling goes down hun, I noticed a bit quite quickly but i can only feel it i cant see it. Is it bad hun? Did your surgeon warn you that this could happen? x

Re: ripling - how soon can it happen?
well i have just had another look and cannot see it now. however, maybe it will be more visible in daylight so will look again in the morning. no i dont remember him mentioning it. he did mention cc though. i have just got the term and understood it from the internet i think. they are defo not as full at the top now though which i am really sad about (maybe that is why?) as i am so paranoid they are now getting saggy. i will take some more pictures tomorrow as i havent taken any for 10 days. it was such a new thing for me having fullness at the top i know they are supposed to drop and i can see they are but i dont want them to!!!!
the medial ends of the crease scars are both very puckery though so makes them look a bit more saggy i think... i didnt know it could happen that quickly though hattie. i am beginning to wish i had not been greedy and just had an uplift!

Hi Vicki, I need an uplift and BA too and I have been advised that I have very little breast tissue so rippling could be an issue, which is why the surgeon has advised anatomical implants as there is less chance of this, however the other surgeons I saw never said the same, so I would be interested to hear what the other girls have to say. He also advised overs whereas the others advised partials, I am constantly confused! Hoping the surgeon I am seeing this Monday will have some answers for me! Are you feeling any better now as I have ready earlier that you were still feeling pretty rough xx

Re: ripling - how soon can it happen?
hi lexi27
my surgeon also said to me about unders and overs and said he would make the decision while he was operating. its the first thing i asked him when i saw him and he said he had done overs. i will mention the rippling though when i see him and let you know what he says about it. i am seeing him again 2 weeks monday. he did say to me though because i wanted a fuller look at the top that he didnt think anatomicals would be good for me so recommended the round moderate profile, which is what i got.
its just so strange as being fairly large on top most of my life as i was bigger weight wise than i am now, you get used to the them. i never in a million years thought i would ever get implants but this last lot of weight loss (i yoyo) really took it toll on my boobs big time and they were just awful. have a look at my pictures and you will see just how bad they were and also you can see the rippling on my of my 'after' shots

Re: ripling - how soon can it happen?
Hi,
After my first op I noticed a ripple as soon as my swelling went down on the inside of the left one. It was like popping a pea in and out. As i had a ruptured pip in the other one i have just had a reop, i asked my surgeon if he would be able to get rid of it and he said probably not. After my reop i have noticed the ripple is virtually gone, i think it was made more prominent because of the bad quality implants, now if i push around for ages i can sometimes feel it slightly but it is very hard to find, OH is very happy! xx

Re: ripling - how soon can it happen?
well rather disturbingly mine is still getting worse and because its on the top its going to be visible in low tops. what they hell was the point.
if i push them together it gets even worse. i dont really understand why my ps didnt do unders for me as i am thin on my chest and the skin was so stretched and saggy on them that with the uplift it must be even thinner. will ask him next week when i see him.

Sorry your not happy Vicki
Best thing is to let your surgeon know you are unhappy and see what he says, its best to be upfront and see if he has any suggestions. I dont know what if anything can be done, but just see what he says. Best of luck xxx
