what will happen ??!!!
This question is for all you girls that have had your ops....
once you have your B/A do you get stretch marks on your boobs due to the skin tightening??????
because my natural boobs got stretch marks after they grew suddenly, but im not sure if its the same with getting implants?
Any answers would be muchly appreciated!
Thanks

Re: what will happen ??!!!
I had strech marks when I was pregnant, so did wonder if I would get them when I had my BA, but luckily I dont get any new ones. They did look bit more noticeable for a while but I think that may have been down to the swelling x

Ive always wondered this too but was just crossing my fingers that since I never got one single stretch mark on my belly or boobs when I had my two kiddies I wouldn't either after a BA

I got stetchmarks from breast feeding. I didn't get anymore though from having a BA.
All you can do in the run up to your BA is try to prepare your boobs as much as possible for the stretching of the skin. Start using moisturisers such as Palmers cocoa butter or Bio-Oil now before you've even had your BA, trying to ensure your skin is as supple as possible prior to your surgery, then keep up the moisturising post-op, obviously avoiding getting anything near your scarring.
If you do get stretch marks, don't worry, they do fade to a fine silvery line which is barely noticeable. xx

I didn't either hun, and one was a twin pregnancy, so I was huge. I didn't get any on my boobs after my ba either.
I think it's down to the elasticity of your skin and you're either going to get them or you're not, but keeping your boobs well moisterised should help to minimise them.

Hun my surgeon told me there is a risk of getting them. And if u have existing ones a BA can either fill them out or make them worse.
But I can't even see the ones I had before! And I'm making sure I cover my boobies (not scars) with cocoa butter every day.xxxx

I had stretchmarks on my boobs from years ago but they are almost invisible now and haven't got any new ones from my BA. I think it's just chance whether you get them or not to be honest. All you can do is moisturise.

I got stretchmarks on my boobs through pregnancy and breastfeeding, but none on my belly... and luckily I didnt get any from the BA either, just the same ones as before, and I wouldnt say having the BA made them anymore or less noticable, they pretty much look the same to me.
