Pip implants or not???
I had my implants done in 2001 at the bodyline hospital in Birmingham. I was told at the time they were cohesive gel implants. I've tried to find the clinic online but have had no joy. I would like to find out if my implants are the PIP type that have been in the media recently. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi, thanks but I am having trouble finding the link! Not sure if it is because I'm on an I pad or it's me being a bit dim lol. I'll keep trying. Xx

I can't seem to find anywhere for the Bodyline clinic in Birmingham, they all (3 of them) seem to be based in the North West.
But here is the phone number and email address for the clinic in Cheshire, maybe they can help you from there. xx
Tel: 0845 491 8750
Email:lynn@bodylineclinic.com

Re: Pip implants or not???
Hi, just had a look at the website, they don't seem to do cosmetic surgery as such, only fillers and botox type treatments. Concerned I may never find out as the surgeon who did my op was on tv a few years ago, and it wasn't good! Saying that, I personally have never had a problem with mine except for rippling when I was a bit slimmer! Xx

Just an Idea hun but have you tried contacting your GP...... Im not sure with BA but any patient who has had surgery private/NHS has a discharge report sent too their own GP detailing the surgery and care recived. Maybe the report sent to him will highlight what was actually used xxxx

Not without your permission they don't.
I didn't want anyone to know about my BA and didn't consent to my GP knowing about my BA after my first op. My second (re-op) I had no choice but to contact GP and consent to her having all surgery details due to having problems with my bloodwork, prior to that she had no knowledge of my previous BA. xx

Re: Pip implants or not???
Gave them a call, and apparently Birmingham clinic was not the same company even though the logo on the website looks exactly as I remember it! Don't really know where to go from here! Xx
