Bath time!!!
Quick question!! How long did you leave it after your BA until you had a nice long soak in the tub ? I'm not talking about having a shallow bath either - I mean a nice deep bath with lots of bubbles!!!
Everyone Sunday is 'me time' whereby I would normally have a nice long soak, put the face pack on with a nice glass if vino and a book and I really miss it!! :( I just wondered when I could start it back up again that was all???

Re: Bath time!!!
I went in after 2 weeks when my strapping came off as incisions had healed over (I checked with my PS first that this was ok). xxx

I've been wondering the same thing. Thought about a bath last night but decided not to risk it. Had a spitting stitch last week and didn't want to take a chance with their being a little opening or anything but would love a nice hot bubble bath.

Oh Kittie what I wouldn't give for a soak in a nice bubbly bath with a glass or two of fine vino a scented candle and some nice background music to drown the kids out who won't sgo to sleep despite it being the first day back at school tomorrow. Ah well wishful thinking don't come on and tell me when you do have one I will be soooooooooooooooooooooo jealous lol xxxx

Re: Bath time!!!
The nurse said to me after taking my strapping off at 2 weeks it is better to have a shower than a bath. Think you can have a shallow one (but thats just not the same is it?!) She said not to soak the incisions for too long. Im 3 and half weeks post op and might leave it till 6 to be on the safe side. I was told 4-6 weeks for pretty much everything! Oh i miss having a long soak! xx

Re: Bath time!!!
ive only let myself actually soak in the bath recently, and im 6 and a half weeks post op. Even though my incisions have been healed well for ages, i dont think soaking them does them any good.

Re: Bath time!!!
I'm thinking I'm going to leave a long hot soak until at least 6 weeks. Will just have a shower tonight. I have emailed the clinic a couple of questions including this to pass to my surgeon tho., Will see what he says.

Re: Bath time!!!
My doc advised "no complete submersion for 6 weeks". I'm a shower girl so it hasn't been an issue, but I'd stay on the safe side. The only hard part for me has been the pool.
