My Little update
Had my MRI results in the post today which confirms intracapsular rupture with 2 granulomata and node involvement. The right one thankfully is ok.
Saw Mr Falladar at MYA on Tuesday who can remove the implants, capsule and lumps and replace with Allergan Natrelle high profile 340cc with an overnight stay and histology on the lumps for £6000 :pale:
Needless to say as this whole thing is very unexpected I don't have £6000. Will have saved 1/3 of that by the end of the month and thanks to a very bad credit rating can't get a loan or credit card...even with a garuntor.
So far I love MYA and Mr F but am seeing Mr Whithy at My Breast in 2 weeks to compare. I have let mt PC at Mya know about the general mybreast offer for PIP's ladies and she has let head office know to see if there's anything they can do.
Can't wait for this all to be over.

Re: My Little update
Oh sweetie, I'm sorry to read you have a rupture
I don't have PIPs but did have a rupture and was also in a financial predicament when needing to have the implants replaced and the damage repaired so can fully empathise with that sweetness.
Stay positive though hun, I know it's hard but it's what's going to get you through this. xx

Re: My Little update
Sorry to hear about your rupture. How long did you have to wait for your MRI results?
Im having mine replaced due to rupture on 15 September, and will be having 340 overs. Luckily i am within my aftercare so dont have to pay. I will keep my fingers crossed you can have them replaced cheaper and soon!
All the best xx

Re: My Little update
Thanks guys.
Found out yesterday I have £500 in an account I forgot about so I've got that cheque on it's way to me and after payday I should have about £2000 saved. It's just getting the rest of it now.
When I've decided who I'm going with and have the money sorted I'd like my op as soon as. Work have been great and said I could have the time off sick rather than use leave so don't need to wait on that.
There is a positive to all this...new boobies and new underwear

Re: My Little update
Went with Transform 6 years ago so aftercare most definitely run out plus I don't want to go with them again. For starters my surgeon not on BAAPS or BAPRAS and just a general breaking of trust thing. I want to do it right this time.

Re: My Little update
I havent had mine confirmed by an MRI but my surgeon is 90% certain mine has ruptured. Mine are under 2 years old too. The one which has ruptured is really soft, you cannot feel the implant, and when i lie on my back it falls to the side like a natural boob.
Ive also read that some people get a tingling burning sensation. Hope this helps, Others might be able to help a bit more. xx

Re: My Little update
I found lumps in my left breast and also had an achey pain down the left side. I've noticed that if I carry anything heavy or overdo it at work etc then the pain is worse. I also can't lay on my left at all and towards the end of the day I have to take my bra off it's that's uncomfortable.

Re: My Little update
Hi Natalia,
How have you found your CUI's? I still havent decided whether i am going for the Natrelles or CUI yet, would be good to get your opinion. Mine will be 380 overs and im looking for them to look as natural as possible.
Thanks Vix xxx

Re: My Little update
has anyone had pips removed and replaced free of charge i think the surgeon who does them should replace them free if they are ruptured

Unfortunately as things stand at the moment hun free re-ops are only being offered to those with ruptured implants that are still within their after-care policy, if you're outside of that you will have to fund the surgery yourself.
It really isn't fair is it

Re: My Little update
Booked my op today!!!!!
Called mybreast to get an earlier consult if possible and i'd have to wait several weeks so stuck to the 2nd sept. PC said they're getting quite booked up and might be an idea to book my surgery there and then. So I did!! If I don't like what I hear next week I can cancel it and get my money for reserving my space back.
Sooooo 29th October I should be getting rid of these things if I like what I hear next week. Feels bloody brilliant!!!

Re: My Little update
My date's been moved to the 15th October! So chuffed about that. Looking forward to meeting Mr Withey next week. Not looking forward to the night shift straight after but nothing I can do about that.
Just received 6 new pillows in the post so I can have a nice little nest post op.
The pain is getting me down but knowing it's all going to be sorted soon is such a relief.
Thanks for all of your support in this xx

Re: My Little update
hi girls went to see my surgeon today he seems to think that my implants are fine and the softness and saggin wen i bend ova are normal because i have had 3 kids but i tried to tell him i had the kids b4 ba not after my skin was stretched to max wen i had ba but now there is a lot of loose skin on my boobs he sed this is also normal and recommended a uplift wen i get my implants replaced.as i am still in my aftercare i get the pips replaced free of charge but im waiting to hear about a price for a bigger implant i dont really want to pay that much i dnt think bigger ones will make much difference as i have 465s and he sed 525s so im waiting for price he also asked if i wanted a tummy tuck which is a cheek i am 8 stone i have a bit loose skin off having kids but my waist is a 8.its all money to them
