a little update

First off I haven't been on here in ages! Started back at college this week and its all been a bit mental.. I've missed you all!  :)

Just thought I'd post an update as I am now 2 weeks post op and I haven't said much post-BA! 

I went to the nurse a couple of days ago, the big plasters are off my incisions now and I've got the little tape strips over them now instead. She said I can wear them for 5 days and then they can come off :D can finally have a proper soak in the bath YAY! 
She was really pleased with how well I'm healing and I am too. Its mad to think how they get an implant in something so small!  
I'm all booked in to see the surgeon on the 18th of Feb. Means no pretty underwear on Valentine's Day boo :( but fingers crossed he's pleased with everything :) 

I've been a bit achey the last few days but I put that down to getting back to college. I'm just going to chill this weekend though and do nothing! :)
I'm starting a picture trail, got a few more pics to upload then I will be sharing with those that would like to see! :D

Fab news and your recovery seems to be going well so far. 
Make sure you do get plenty of rest still as it is very easy to overdo things when you start to feel better. 

The Easter bunny will have to bring your pretty bras instead of chocolate this year me thinks!!

Seashell I've got my boyfriend waiting on me this morning.. I am doing nothing ha! :) 

Jen college has been good! Just preparing for uni eek! I've told the girls I'm closest too and they were all excited for me which was nice :) once I've sorted my pic trail and uploaded a few more pics I'll be sure to let you know!

Glad all is going well Jordan. 

Do check on that 'proper soak in the bath' babe. Generally you're not able to fully submerge your incisions until at least 4-6 weeks post-op due the risk of infection.

When having a 'bath' you're effectively soaking in your own bacteria, so you could get an infection from this babe.

Having a shower is different because its clean water constantly running over the wounds, so do check on that babe xx

Oh yeah I didn't even think of that! Thanks Cookie I will check :) we don't have a shower in my house though which is annoying. Shallow soaks will just have to do for a bit longer I suppose! Nice to see you back on here!  Loving your new pic, hope you're well :) xx

Hi babe, it's alright I suppose. I have an infection in the bone and in the nail bed of my little finger...... Bone is healing nicely though apart from infection ha! Thanks Louise, missed you all. Xx

Oh god, you've really been through it you poor thing. Can't wait till you get your boobies and the past mnth will be a distant memory for you.x
