What do yours feel like a week or so post op?
Hey
I am just wondering if it is just me or if others with newly done boobs?
Mine feel more painfull now at 8 days post op than they did 3 days post op, I can feel my skin is tight, very tender to touch and I am taking pain killers again which to be honest dont seem to be touching the kind of pain I am experiencing.
It is my skin you see that is just feeling very tender pretty much all over? so tender that it its not very nice at all really.
I wanted to ask other ladies, how are yours feeling? or can you recall what yours felt like soon after your op and how long before the skin and nerves etc have got used to the extra weight.
I would really appreciate your help on this one

Re: What do yours feel like a week or so post op?
Hey hun, I remember it well. 8 days post op i was more tender, but I think it was due to pain killers leaving my system. You are pretty drugged up in hospital so 8 days post you may have less painkillers in your system. I remember terrible swelling at night, they would go even harder. This caused me some discomfort so i took a few more tramadol so i could sleep. Then over the next few weeks a sunburned odd feeling started around my boobs with sharp pains. My nipples were Really sore. All of the odd feelings I had were just my body recovering. I was slightly unnerved by a squidging feeling in my one boob and i felt like i had pulled the muscle at one point, but after a week of chilling it settled down. I feel no extra weight, just like they have always been there. Oh and when i drunk a cold drink i felt like it was running past my implant. I know this isn't possible but it was odd. It is amazing what difference a few weeks can make. I am nearly 6 weeks post op and feel fab. Hope your recovery goes well xoxoxooxo

I couldn't feel my boobs that early post op they were numb, but I did have the weird feeling when I had a cold drink. I've heard many girls say the skin on their boobs post op feels like its sun burned and sore after, so you aren't alone hun, maybe use a moisturiser with aloe vera in to sooth the skin
Re: What do yours feel like a week or so post op?
Ooo i never had the cold drink feeling! umm 8 days..i wasnt on any pain killers by that point, and was starting to get some decent sleep after getting a v pillow! Oh and the backache was annoying!
But now im almost 6 weeks PO and i feel great! im used to the weight, as they feel like they did pre op (nothing basically!) i had dry skin after a couple weeks, and just getting over a rash on them from reaction to vitamin E cream! x

Re: What do yours feel like a week or so post op?
From my boobie diary 1 week post-op babe -
Awww bless lil me post-op blues, sore, high and hard boobies... I'm so glad that's over! LOL
Sleep deprevation is really getting to me now, my ribs really hurt from
being propped up and I feel a little tearful this morning.
Because I've had no sleep, all kinds of thoughts start to run through my mind.
I've
still no sensation at all in the left breast, was talking to hubby
about it last night and he said that he had a good look at my boobs when
the dressings were being changed and that my left was really bruised,
even the nurse commented on how bruised my nipple was, then he said "it
looked black!"
Now I have it in my head that the nipple is
dead!.. I keep trying to rationalise that if the nurse suspected that,
then she would have acted on it, but then the sleepy me says...
Noooooooo she's just seeing how it goes!!!! Damn my sleepy head!
I go back to see the nurse tomorrow night, so I'll be glad to get some peace of mind from her.
Rightie still high and hard but I can feel it, leftie - lower, softer but numb still.

Re: What do yours feel like a week or so post op?
My lowest moment was day 3, was up by 5am & in so much pain that the tears were streaming. 2 days later I was off the painkillers. By day 8 not much pain, other than the morning boob (still getting it) I am very numb on the nips & the lower part of my boobs, can't feel a thing & have these horrible red pimply things on my chest (Major Frankinboobage going on) I hope the heaviness/falling off feeling goes away soon too.
Hope your pain subsides soon angelfish83

Hi Angelfish.....I also had my BA on Aug 3rd. Mine are feeling itchy around the incisions, I guess that's because they're healing but it'ts driving me crazy!! Also got morning boob which I don't like much.
Can't wait for them to settle down and feel part of me xxx

Re: What do yours feel like a week or so post op?
Yep, I had the whole tender skin feeling as well. I used to sit in the chair with a couple of cold wet flannels over my boobs during the hour that I was allowed to take my bra off!! It felt excruciating when I placed them on there but it seemed to help.
When I went for my first walk around the block I thought the weight of them on my scars was so bizarre, like the bra wasn't capable of holding them in and I was genuinely scared as to how it felt!!
Coupled with the general feelings of "what have I done, I didn't order these babies!" I felt pretty low. It does get better, honest xxx

hey, it is good to read these stories as you dont really think about all this before you decide to go ahead, well i didnt, i think i block it out and just go for it then think about the bad things later.
I am feeling better, still got sore boob around the outside and yeah nipples are totally numb. My boyfriend worries more than i do - he says is that normal and i am just like yeah, its fine that the other one is bigger than the other (tiny bit) but it does look more swollen so I am pretty cool about that.
i am loving the cleavage though, a second bum crack i aint used too ha ha :)
love it x
I did do a search on here for 'sore' and loads of other posts came up and it looks like its about 4 weeks really untill that goes away.

i had very sore boobs at 8 days too, felt like sunburn and really bruised espeically all down the sides of them and between my boobs felt like it was going to rip and give way to both my implants from the pressure lmao! of course that never happened but i did convince myself this was about to happen lmao! .
it was about week3 that mine stopped feeling bruised and sore really, now im waiting for one to drop lol x

This is so good to read. I'm 16 days and they seem to just get more tender. I have funny sensations when I'd lift my arm up almost as if I can feel the implant rubbing against the inside of my nipple. This can't be what it is since I have unders...but it's strange to say the least. I'd like them to calm down a bit. My stitches have disolved and the tape is off, but the scar sites are sore now. I'm trying to be patient, but its hard :(

I also had mine on the 3rd and mine are quite sensitive to the touch and my nipples are numb. Mine also feel really odd when I wake in the morning and first sit up....it only lasts for a couple of minutes but it's not a nice feeling!! Are you still sleeping on your back? I can't wait to shift position, I tried to move on to my side last night but my boob ached so ended up on my back again!! xxxx
