Advice for Lift with BA
Hello Girls!
I'm so happy and excited to be here. I'm from Houston, Texas so please forgive my American slang. My lift and BA is scheduled...less than 48 hours away (I'm counting, can you tell?) I'm currently a 36D and have bf both of my kids (9 and 6) so the lift is a must. I've always have had large boobies, but I'm going a bit larger (OMG!!!!) I've opted for 350cc under to "fill out" what I've alredy got.
Any suggestions for post-op tips and tricks, ways to improve healing and recovery, and any advice in general would be most welcome.
Thanks y'all!
AK

Re: Advice for Lift with BA
Hi there - we have a few US girls on here, it's a fab, helpful forum, a great find!!
You now have about 44 hours to go!! I can feel your excitement.
Post op tricks, take your meds when due for the first few days, clock watch with them. Bettter to keep pain at bay rather than try and stop pain. Sleep as much as poss or at least rest, best natural healer. Take short walks 5-10 mins every few hours to keep everything flowing and ahem, moving!! Drink plenty of water, maybe with a squeeze of fresh lemon to stop/reduce bloating and constipation.
And keep looking at those new boobies!! You will look great!!
And again, welcome, talk soon xx Tick-tock!!

Re: Advice for Lift with BA
Hey hun, I lived across the pond for a couple of years many years ago (New Hampshire, New England) so am used to the 'American' slang...not that you used any in your post
As you're having a lift, it's best to wear a seamless sportsbra to avoid any irritation to your wounds.
If you smoke at all, stop now hun! Smoking is proven to be a factor in developing complications during the recovery process.
Get yourself some ice packs to place across the tops of your boobs, I found these invaluable during my recovery to aid the swelling.
Initially after a lift your scars can look quite scary, stay focused on further down the line, what you see right after surgery is not what your breasts will look, it's just best to be prepared for what you'll see and KNOW they look fabulous later - remember scarring up to 3 months can look worse before they get better, after that it's all good!
If I think of anything else babe, I'll come back. xxx

Thank you so much! I think I've got pretty much everything except a pillow that some girls have mentioned. Sent the BF out to get groceries and "comfort foods", but will add ice packs to his list! I've never smoked, so we're good there....
I should be back in a few days to check in!
