Consultation Wedensday Any Tips
I have my consultation on Wednesday and was wondering if anyone had any tips? I have printed off the questionire to take with me, but is there any questions that you wish you had asked but didn't think about it or any questions I should look out for.
I am making a list and will be keeping everything in a folder. I am taking pictures in of the boobs i would like to show the type and size.
Just need a little help.
Thanks

You sound very organised hun. I would just say make sure you feel comfortable and happy with the PS you see before making any decisions and if you need to see them again make sure that you do.

Re: Consultation Wedensday Any Tips
biggest tip
try on all the sizes and see how they feel and look on you, as they look so different on different people as we are all different dimensions.
don look at other women and think i want to look like that because unless you have exactly the same body frame and statistics you will never look exactly like that.
ask about the difference between high profiles and uppers/unders and anatomical versus round.
and say what cup size you want to be after surgery this is not the same as what size you want in .
eg. i said i want to be a b cup after surgery and they put me in a 260g which is a b cup, but once in my body with my own breast tissue i a now actually a c/ d cup. i am finally used to it now tho ;-) and i think i look hot!!!!! haha
biggest tip use the consultation 'ticky box" form supplied on this website.
it will be fab xxx

Re: Consultation Wedensday Any Tips
I think using your instincts is the best tip I can give you, if it doesn't feel right or you feel too pressured to book something maybe it is not for you. On the other hand if you feel your surgeon understands what you want and you are happy with everything, put them on the probable list.
Re: Consultation Wedensday Any Tips
You're better not discussing 'cup sizes' at all with your surgeon babe as they work in volume and not cupsizes and it's very possible the surgeons perception of a specific cup size is very different to yours, to ensure you're singing from the same song sheet you're doing the right thing in taking in pictures, you may not get the exact same look as the person in the pic as our anatomies are all different but your surgeon gets a better idea of the volume needed to achieve the size of breast you're looking for and the profile needed to achieve the look you're after hun. xx

Oh and don't make any decisions straight away!
Walk away, mull over everything you've been told and if possible have other consultations with other surgeons too, then after seeing a few surgeons you can make an informed decision hunni. xx

Good luck hun, planning means you get the most out of your consultation! Try to enjoy it too, having so much to ask means you sometimes forget to enjoy the experience and connect with your surgeon.
